- During the clash of EuroLeague titans in Round 8, FC Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius sent his forward Nikola Kalinic to the locker room after an argument in the third quarter and ended the game with a scuffle between him and the Anadolu Efes' coaching staff.

You can't prove such claims unless you recorded the assistant coaches while they were recording the practice. I don't think they recorded though. Everyone knows how Barca plays and how Efes plays. Yesterday Efes was on fire and motivated whereas Barca lost control around middle of 2nd quarter. Despite Lapprivitola's amazing 3pts Clyburn answered back every time. Top quality basketball was served yesterday night in Istanbul.
This Saras dude needs to chill and learn to behave like mature person, I understand his caracter and passion but every time something is against his team during a game he acts like a spoiled kid and complaims all the time. Also sending players out of the game is just how he channeled frustration and anger. He might be decent coach and all that but he needs to grow up mentally and work on his behavior.
I think saras need to stop wanting to be the star of his team. He is the coach. He need to put his player in the best conditions to express their quality. Here he puts in place a rigid system, and is furious every time someone doesnt respect it. But sometimes players have to take matters on their Owns hands outside the system, and let their talent speaks.
His behaviour with the referee, the other coachs seems in the same veins. He wants to be seen he wants to be the star.
I feel like ataman have this balance between his system and the natural talent of his player, between when its Time to yell at the referee and when its time to stfu.
Saras has to improve a lot.
See nikola like that made me sad. good and moral player and probably did not deserve that. i am sure most of fener fans still miss that old but gold times (2014-2019) bogdan, bobby, gigi, nikola, jan, ekpe, kostas, antic...

It is possible that Efes had a camera and also possible that Barca has a camera in their home court. It is an away game. Simply don't work on tactical tricks at game day. work on them in your home gym before you travel.
Ataman has no hope to become a better coach than he is now. He will keep playing with media and be a good manager and leader but not much room for improvement.
Saras still has the opportunity to become an elite coach. We all remember often gathering and talking to his teammates when playing. Several times in a game. We all ignored the sometimes puzzled faces of teammates and called Saras a great leader back then. What it seems to be the case is that Saras is and was a control freak that gives no freedom to his players. He better watch how coach Bartzokas and Zelico evolved overtime. Discipline is there. Control is there. But they trust the fundamentals, gave more freedom to their players, calm them down and they are in control without being too vocal. Coach Saras should do the same or else he will be soon the new Dusko Ivanovic. A very good coach known for discipline but not an elite one and definitely not one that deserves to manage such a big budget as Barcas.
This has been a very messy week for Ataman 🤣🤣🤣🤣 honestly i don't think they did what Jasikevicius is accusing them.

Two completely different coaches, Ataman as "play-the-way-you-want" and Šaras who wants the players to do exactly according to his game PLAN... Well, maybe it works for players with some great but still undiscovered potential but Barca doesn't have many of these, most of the team are allready experienced Euroleague stars with great value. So there's no need to scream and shout at them...
They still make silly mistakes and many moments when they are not following what was talked and practiced for hours.
So in his mind like wtf?

I think this game was a perfect example of european basketball at its finest. Physical and real competition ON the court. All the other shenanigans for me are not important. But we all know in our digital age this kind of stories generate clicks and traffic. P.S.: Estimated Budgets of last season: FCB 45 M€ Efes 25M€.
C'mon people this is ridiculus! If this accusation was made by Ergin Ataman to the Barca coaches, everybody was torturing Ataman with their comments now. Please be fair, this Saras guy should blame himself first for every mistakes this most expensive and most uncapable team does.

It is time to question the merit of Saras. All he does is whining and complaining about imaginated external enemies. The guy has the highest budget in EL and lots of top guys but he can not even use them properly. All he does is shouting to players hysterically
Insert It s the most wonderful time of the year here.. No it s not Christmas, it s when Saras is crying. He is trying so hard to be an Alpha but everybody knows that he is not even a Beta next to Ataman.. We all know he is an emotional mess but we can also see how morally bankrupted he is with his false accusation. He has the burden of proof but I don t think if he will bother to clear himself up. Anyways I love seeing him cry. I hope he will find himself another euroleague team after Barca and we will keep him crying

Wow so much Šaras haters lol It means hes really something big if he has haters. Šaras even as player was always very emotional and most of the time had arguments with referees about questionable calls, so no wonder why hes acting like that, guy just want to win all.
I still wonder why Šaras said that efes were filming the training. Its hard to believe that he could say something like this just because hes team lost the game.
But Šaras still is the Top coach. Its so funny that some people say that hes overated and so on. Especially efes fans. I just kindly remind you that Šaras developed few players which are now stars in Euroleague like Micic. Also question for efes or turkish basketball fans in general. I am not one of the Efes fans. I want to say something about Ataman as a Turk. By the way i am Fenerbahçe’s supporter. Our basketball clubs focus their strategy for to be success in Euroleague. This reason, our young players have not enough time on court. We have not own elite players such as Hedo Türkoğlu, Okur, Kutluay, Türkcan, Tunçeri, İlyasova, Onan… We are hope from Larkin/Wilbekin. Although, last summer our team played good agaist France and Spain. You know that this 2 teams were finalists. We proud our team. Ataman was good job last summer with his bench. If he has a elite player such as one of the Doncic, Jokic, Iannis, certainly won the cup.
You can like your coaching style ,but this is not mandatory for every basketball fan, please don't compare micic performance before efes and now , like larkin. Also Saras can not achieve anything with Barca with such a great budget. There is no freedom for players , he wants to create a robotic team but at the end of this is basketball. By the way this year they can win the cup 🏆 .
@@unalgokalpisik577 Its still strange that such big country like Turkey needs americans to help national team. In Lithuania we wouldnt allow such thing. But Spain won champsionship without Jokic or Doncic level player so maybe Turkey could do it with Cedi as leader.

Barca is the most expensive team in EL and still not very strong under Saras’s management. We always knew that Saras is a good coach for average teams and Barca is XXL for him. Whenever he loses he fights his team members and the spreading words around for his opponents rather than congratulating. Very antipathetic character
