Love your videos Lisa! BUT it’s a little misleading when a product has “x number of reviews and x star rating” … the Tower 28 is probably a good product but of the 413 reviews ONLY 99 were not incentivized. That could actually change the rating/reviews for customers spending their OWN money to purchase.
Totally agree, nowadays it’s more incentive reviews than from actual buyers. I’ve been burnt a few times, now I really look at the reviews. There are a handful of folks I do trust on their reviews so I’m careful on what I want to purchase especially during these trying times.😊
@@BlingyBeaI agree. I filter when I look at reviews. I also do you tube videoes and about 98 percent of the products I try I have purchased on my own. So I am hard and very honest bc I spent my own money and I know people who watch my videos or are watching the type of videos of mine want the honest review. They want to know if their money is being used wisely.
I agree. If I see the reviewer got the product for free, it immediately becomes an invalid review in my opinion. Even subconsciously, just because they gave it to you for free, it will sway you. Oh, and I bought that concealer with my own money. It looks good on my face, but dry under my eyes (combo skin, 42 years old)
I agree. I ignore all reviews when the product has been received for free. If available, I apply a filter so that I only see reviews on verified purchases.
I think ignoring reviews simply because a product has been gifted is unfair. Larger content creators often get PR and I see many that I watch, give negative reviews on said products if they don't recommend. Many of us receive products for review these days through Amazon, Influenster etc...I can assure you I have left honest ratings and reviews on products that aren't worth purchasing in my opinion. Sure, there are some that have given less than a 100% honest review, this is a fact. I would recommend not follow those you may think are dishonest in their review of gifted product.
Lisa I have been watching you & your video's for quite some time now. I think you are one of the most beautiful and genuine people on these make-up platforms! I have more to say but short on time today. I will be in touch. Thank you for all your knowledge! Sue Holleger
I love how copper colors always bring out the green in your eyes! Do you think that in one of your videos you could use plum or green colors? I would love to see how you would use these.💚
Great tips & tricks! I have green eyes & absolutely love all of your eye looks…would love to see a tutorial with a few of your “go to” favorite eyeshadow/eye combinations.
Lisa, good morning! I am your shade twin and love love love the Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm. I have found that shade 4 is a little too dark during Fall/Winter/Early Spring, actually ordered 3.5 which is the perfect alternative!!!! 3 was actually a little too light. I haven't tried her contour yet but during her next sale I am going to give it a go as I love her cream blush and cream bronzer.
Hi Lisa, you mentioned blush placement in your video and how you like to place yours on the apples of your cheeks… would you be able to do a demo of the higher placement that is trending please? It would be interesting to compare the two different looks. Thank you x
Bought it and tried it and loved it. Thank you for the videos they have been a great help. Thanks for your honesty! What I love about it it stays on. Thanks Lisa
Ooooooo…pretty!!! I love the lip look you put together, and I LOVE my ND palette 🤎🤎! I’m interested in getting an all-matte palette-have you used Pat McGrath’s all-matte one, and if so, how would you compare it to the Patrick Ta palette? Thanks for sharing this whole process-it was fun!
Hey, Lisa! 🙋♀️When are you reviewing the new MAC Radiance foundation? I think you will love it..! ❤I am still looking for my perfect shade, since I got it in my shade as the matte one, NC27, but I find it too yellowy-dark...
Could you please put the name of the brush that you are using in your videos like you do with the names of the products your talking about? I recently purchased the A506 and 109 and want to purchase more. They are truly amazing brushes. I have a difficult time telling the size of the brushed on your website and seeing them in use will help with scale. It would also be helpful if there was a comparison feature on the website to help tell the difference and why one might work better than another.
Lisa you are the loveliest bubbly person! Your videos are always excellent with so many tip and tricks and recommendations. Your features are just so fine and delicate and you’re just as cute as a button. Love you ❤
LisaJ. I love that foundation. We are usually shade twins and I did have to move down to the 3.5 shade for Fall/Winter. Also Love the translucent as a primer
I learned something new today Lisa! Thanks! I have a question about putting the concealer after foundation - what about when you are using a corrector, same process? Thanks for sharing so many pretty palettes!
Would love to see more looks with just the Patrick Ta palette😊. I just got it and I’m loving it so much and would love to get some more use out of it and you’re such a great teacher! This look is SO pretty but Natasha Denona is not easy to get here in Canada plus not sure I can afford both right now 😅. Although I would love to scoop that one up at some point 🙈 Thanks so much for sharing all of the goodies and such a great reminder to dig out my Danessa Myrick foundation - you reminded me how much I love it! Xo 💕🇨🇦
Definitely! Both palettes are new to me and I will play with them more. I truly appreciate you taking time out of your day to watch channel and share on comments. Thank you! 💖
I want to know if someone's actually going to buy this with their own money and not be reimbursed that's the kind of review and we're testing that I'm interested in does it show wrinkles does it melt our disappear off your face?

Ooh and I love love love that Rare Beauty highlighter❤️❤️❤️
Such a terrific tutorial from someone who clearly knows her art! I have extremely dry skin- and always skew to glowy/dewy.
Oh thank you! I appreciate taking the time to watch and share! Have a beautiful day 💖
Gorgeous look, Lisa!

Ha Ha! I love your videos, Lisa, but when you added highlighter to your chin and called it your nose, I had to giggle!😁❤️
Lol! Oh my goodness... I get a little to excited 😁
Beautiful look! I’m loving both of those eyeshadow palettes too! So pretty! 😘💗
Loved this video, Lisa! Thank you for playing with makeup with us 😊❤

Your such an excellent teacher. Can’t wait to try the look!
I need to pull out my WA blush too. I love that shade on my skintone too. It makes your cheeks almost have a glass skin effect. It’s sooo pretty!

Always love watching your looks.
Thank you friend! 💖
Beautiful Lisa, I love those eyeshadow shades on you and the lip combo was lovely also. 🩷🩷🇦🇺
Oh thank you! Have a lovely day 💖
The blown eyeshadow look is great at you. You should try that more often.

Love that you said big o’l cheek 😂 from one Texas girl to another.
Lol 😁

Ciao Lisa, you mentioned you would report back how the primer held up but i don't see it anywhere. Can you please point me to it? Thanks!
Love the makeup and it looks great but its all a little to expensive for me right now. Have a good day.
looks good

If you were only going to buy one of the shadow palettes. which would you recommend?
I use a brush and second layer I use a sponge
Lisa can you give me the link for the video you did on the ND I need a nude palette. Thank you!
Hi! My Natasha Denona video will go live tomorrow morning 💖
How do u prevent the concealer creasing?
EXACTLY I AGREE AND SENSITIZE REVIEWS REALLY DON'T MEAN A THING. HOW ABOUT WE STICK WITH REAL PEOPLE REAL REVIEWS IN REAL MONEY BEING SPENT!
What brush was used to apply the cream blush?
Hi! I used the BK Beauty 112 Small Angled Face brush
@lisajmakeup Which brush for the foundation?
❤
My goodness, did you have a lot of coffee before shooting? This was actually stressfull.
I want to know if someone's actually going to buy this with their own money and not be reimbursed that's the kind of review and we're testing that I'm interested in does it show wrinkles does it melt our disappear off your face?
My face is not a trend. 😁
You could have gifted the palette to a viewer.
How do I avoid a patchy facial makeup application?
How much weight have you lost ?
