I realize UA-cam is responsible but I can’t even listen to lovely reading like this to sleep! Commercials every few minutes! I realize the need but geez! Lovely narrator.
What do you mean, no adverts? I've just seen 2 in the first 10 minutes. Too bad. I love Agatha Christie and I love John Moffatt's narration, but I can't stand the ads.
I love John Moffat reading a Miss Marple! I thought he only read Poirot!! Such an interesting rendition, and so thoroughly explored and realised. I find other presenters read the narrator in their own voice without emphasis or consideration, and rather dully, rather than fully in character, and this disappoints and often irritates greatly. This rendition has real feeling in every aspect, and is the closest to how I'd read it in my head (but only much better, thankfully). Each character, including the narrator's distinctly has their own full life with absolute consideration to their own back story.. Thank you Mr Moffat for your artistic skill, interpretation, consistency and, most importantly, intellect!! Truly it has been a pleasure to discover this gem of a work.
I grew up reading Agatha Christie and each of her books. This was her final mystery. Every book is always so perfectly done, as is this one. Thank you. So much. ~ C
No...have to give up!! So many adverts constantly disrupting the flow of the story so that i cant keep up. Ots a shame because the narrator is excellent. I don't mind a few adverts-everybody's got to make a living but this is ridiculous!
I love knowing a bit about the doll you are decorating for. It really adds to the meaning of the things you pick out. It's also good to see some of your former trash to treasures showing up on the scene. I can tell there's not much hope for you on over-gluing 😂 but the mirror turned out lovely. xxx
I agree. Just got my 1st one at 4 minutes, 32 seconds. I'm just grateful to the uploader and will happily listen to this magic new natural remedy that means you'll never have to go see an optometrist ever again! Click to get your crazy eye pills today!
The premise that identical twins - from the same egg - could have different genetic characteristics is implausible. It does however tie in with Christie's eugenic bent.
The worse is this awful ad nauseum mind the pun on tunein radio. This awful American woman comes repeat ad nauseum telling you You already know you can get tunein but did you know you can now have it in your car. It's an american thing.i never hear it with brits. Just go on and on and on. Drives me up the bloody wall!
This is my worst audiobok experience ever, plagued by ads that interrupt a great narration every three to four minutes, therefore ruining the atmosphere of the storyl. I gave up after 30 minutes. How disrespectful.

This is maybe my favorite Agatha Christie story, and yes the narrator is wonderful. Thank you!
Excellent narration. My favourite is Hugh Fraser, but this man is very good. Thank you for sharing
I couldn’t agree more.
A Masterpiece of writing and presentation. This might be my favorite A. C. story.
Now there are no adverts and a lovely experience awaits the listener. Thanks for the upload.

“Elephants Can Remember” features Poirot with Ariadne Oliver.
Did we listen to the same audiobook?
Did you bother to listen ? This is a Poirot story
My favorite reader is Hugh Fraser. I can't listen to Miss Marple until I find someone's reading I can understand.

Very good narration
I don't know why ITV changed the story so much
What a SUPERB narration and interpretation. Splendid story. Thank you.

Well done on the narration, it was seamless. Thank you for the upgrade
I love this reading but it's spoiled by frequent ads.
This story is read so tenderly.
I think this man is even better than High Fraser, and that’s saying something!
Yes High Fraser is also very good😂
I believe this is John Moffet. He narrates a couple of others also. The Murder of
Roger Acroyd is one.
I prefer this narrator as Hugh goes falsetto when reading female dialogue and that is irritating.

Since I like Agatha Christie
Everything she's written is just about OK w,/me!!😊
Im sure the provider of these delicious stories has no control over the ad content. I don't care. Im not paying for these stories. THEY ARE FREE‼️😊

Spoiler Warning for above, (if it's not too late not to wreck it others). .
Absolutely brilliant narrator, best I've heard. He even makes the unbearable Poirot bearable.
My favorite is also Hugh Fraser.
Spoiled by adverts! Every five minutes so that’s 156 adverts in the running time!,!!,

Very intense but enjoyable story. Ads do go on for about an hour, then fine.
❤Thanks for this!
These ads!! Constant and very annoying! Making a list and will NEVER use any of these damn irritating products or services! 😢

Lovely voice. Are there any other Agatha Christie audiobooks ?
Many, just type audio Agatha Christie
Great story, but dreadfully spoiled by so many adverts.
No kidding, ads every 5 minutes!!!
Great reading - thank you!
Superb
Who is the wonderful narrator?
John Moffatt
Where is the Hugh fraiser version?
Thank you for this. But I’m sorry to moan. Why so many adverts?
Pity about the ads
May be John Moffat
I think you are right it does sound very like his Poirot, in the radio plays.
Yes, sounds like John Moffat, excellent.
It is indeed the late John Moffat.
Too many ads unfortunately. Otherwise loved it.
2 ads in 10minutes...ill forgo the pleasure
Pay for youtube premium. No ads. Its great.
Just get YT Revanced.
Yeah, paying for UA-cam is totally worth it
As it gets further in there’s a lot less ads
The story is worth listening to… just keep skipping them ! 🤨
This is a great book but it’s not relaxing because of the ads.
Ads spoil listening and deter me from using these entries and therefore are a complete waste of time.

Too many adverts I have absolutely no intetest in.

For as long as you have the awful ads I won’t listen to these 🤷🏼♀️
Tooooo many ads
More adds than tolerable. Figure it out
Don't bother
What a ridiculous story
