I just realized the villian in Mighty Ducks (Hawks coach Jack Riley) and D3 villian (Varsity warrior captain Riley) have same last name. It would have been a better thing if Lane Smith came back to reprise Jack Riley role and bring everything full circle as his son lol. I bet if Estevez came back full time they would have done it but with him working on War At Home movie at same time they were lucky to get Estevez at all.

There’s a whole country above us that takes it as seriously as football is taken here and the only state around here that has a meaningful percentage of good athletes playing it is Minnesota. Competitiveness and winning can be addicting and sometimes be detrimental to someone’s health. Also, it can turn people into jerks and push teammates away. People forget that the word game is a hunting term for the animals the hunters are hunting, sport to means for pleasure which is also a hunting term, in case you sports fanatics don’t know. I played sports and I loved it for the athleticism and better myself physically.
