- Reflecting on Suffering, doubt, and faith can trigger intrusive thoughts. How should Muslims deal with dealing with these challenges? And what do we do when we begin to question and doubt our faith? We had the pleasure of sitting down with Maryam Amir at the Being Me Women’s Conference to discuss her thoughts. Maryam Amir received her Masters in Education from UCLA. She is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies through Al Azhar University’s distance learning program. Here is our interview with her now.

subhanAllah. Brought tears to my eyes. The last part. It is amazing that we as human beings are selfish and fail to recognize that things take time and the Allah swt is always listening. I myself included. When she said what her hardships had been for. Tears just flowed. Especially when one is in a similar situation.

If you think about it, if there was proof of presence of god or any such thing it would be obvious people will start obeying and believing without a doubt. Allah doesnt show any such thing as he wants to see whos faith is strong enough to believe without seeing
