Tractors are great they can do so much more then most people think.
I have watched this video so many times I lost count that 3033r with the grapple is my dream machine
Pretty close to mine too :-)
Wow! Quite an operation John has and beautiful work!
Glad to see you back to posting, praying that the family is doing well after the unexpected homecoming.
Welcome back Tim and Christy, hope all is well.
Very enjoyable video. Nice to learn about conservation, woodmilling, tractors, use of grapples, and good people all in one video. Only Tim and Christy good do this so successfully and make it look easy.
Thanks Daniel! There were lots of topics covered in this one! We had no idea we would encounter all of this when we started!
Great video. That barn at 16:57 was gorgeous ! Thanks for showing us !
Mark is a pro at it! Enjoyed also learning about what the wood would be used for and what they are doing with the preserve. Keep us posted as his project continues.
Good to see the follow up with Mark and his beautiful property. It was interesting to follow the wood to the sawmill, take the tour and meet a man with a ¨passion¨ committed to doing good work. Blessings to you.
Great to see you, all blessings to your family.
Hi Tim and Christy what a great setup John has you just cannot beat wood it really is amazing what you can turn a piece of wood into its good to see you back Tim and Christy
Loved the old tractor and the innovations he has done to make it work. Another great video.
Wow! So many awesome things in this video. An update on a prior project, with an upgraded 3033r. The sawmill experience too! What a fascinating operation and a wonderful product he puts out.
Tractor Time with Mark! LoL! Great to see you being a mentor, Tim! You've been helping me for over 4 yrs with your videos!
First off Tim, no matter what size tractor you start off with, you always end up going larger. It just works that way.
The lumber operation was a great interview. Seeing how a single man was able to operate a small sawmill with a kiln, to provide custom lumber is a trade that is going the way of the Dodo.
Love the trailer with the hydraulic tailgate. Having the option to partially open the gate to spread stone building a trail or driveway is a great time saver verses the double doors and a pile of stone to move. The roll up tarp in most states will keep you from being sued for dropping a load going down the highway. If it's covered, you're golden.
So, what tractor are you trading in for the newly approved new tractor purchase? I heard Christy, she approved the purchase if you get rid of something.
I’ll have to keep working on her!
Made me hearken back to my days as a furniture maker. I have a couple of downed oaks I would love to use to replace the kitchen floor. The 2000 mile commute would probably make it uneconomical :) Still remembering you all in my prayers.
A good apprentice with passion.. Does that even exist anymore? I hear the same from the visiting trades in my neighborhood.
Thanks Dad and POP for teaching me to work hard and be self reliant.
Enjoyed the “site visit “ at the mill and the interview Tim. Interesting
It’s good to see the TTWT team..sending positive thoughts to help you deal with your loss.
Welcome back Tim and Christy. I continue to keep your family in my prayers!
Thanks for adding that extra stuff awesome looking wood u have access to
I like Christy and how you two tease each other about buying new equipment. :-)
Great Video Tim, Glad you and Christy are back hope you all are doing well.
💥 Fun to watch the process from the woods loading to what will become of the logs.
*Keep on tractoring!* 👍
Excellent video! Interesting to see the flooring guys setup!
Great seeing y’all again!
Great to see you guys back.
Another great video Tim. Mark did great with the loader. You sound like me, I need that piece of equipment LOL. Take care thanks
Great episode as always. You’re in my thoughts and prayers
Good to see you back. I enjoyed the wood working aspect of this video! Thank you.
I love that ground clearance on that tractor. Great video tim and kristy.
Hi Tim and Christie I hope all your family is doing well. I'm sold on a grapple that would be a super addition to my tractor. There was some beautiful wood in this video makes me want to build something ( a new barn shop) thanks for sharing and have a good week.
Very interesting video Tim and Christy, thanks for the hard work.
Sure enjoyed seeing the logs roll out. I have the 3046R and like it very much. Traded up from 1026R. Got the top and tilt on the back and frontier grapple on the front.
Have had two failures on grapple valves. Hook it up after not using it for a while and it doesn't want to work. Back in the shop with one month wait. Tractor out if warrantee but solinoid valve will be covered under one year repair warrantee.
Glad to see you back tim , I know it was a rough week for yall.
Love my 3033R! It does some serious work
Easy easy easy “carefuling” easy gentle, BOOM BAM 💥, ! You got it new dent. Tim you always the good guy and try hide your look of “seriously!” Glad your back.
Tim FYI the corn planter in my pic is from Grandparents farm south Whitley, IA
That was some impressive wood work you showed 👍
Thank you for the videoTim and Kristy again great stuff!! Hope all is well! You guys were close to our location. We are South of Milan a short minute or two.!! Very neat to see you guys find you all the way out here lol!!.
Excellent Video! I did not know about Carson Mill. Thanks for the info and please keep the videos coming. I think I'm almost caught up on all the episodes
I'm not surprised mark got rid of a 1025r. They are just over a lawn mower. Nice to see he bought a tractor not a toy. Smart man
Nice to see the old Ash trees going to good use. I believe the ash will hold up very well as flooring. I understand that ash is a very stable wood that does not twist and warp. Thanks for a very interesting video.
Tim great never seen a custom saw mill
God Bless All
PaK
Very interesting video Tim, hope we get to see some pictures of the flooring when it is done.
Tim really cool video I appreciate them buddy
Glad to see you guys are back at it. Hope you and your family are well. The guy at the mill could be a ringer for Johnathan Hillstrand on Deadliest Catch
I own the 3046R i love it, I highly recommend it!
Nice to see you back Tim! I'm looking at purchasing the 2032r/38r not sure which yet next Spring and was wondering about the 3033r. Wow, very nice tractor but a lot more than I need. I ran a 2002 JD 4700 for years and loved that tractor but again way more than I need. Great video guys!
Welcome back you two! I hope everything is going well. I've missed Johnny one, two, etc... too! You ought to see some of Johnny's big family members that I've seen on Big Tractor. 9000 series and X combines, etc... wow!
We have met Big Tractor Power. Very nice guy!
I grew up about 10 minutes from Sunman!! Woodmizer is also right down the road from there in Batesville!
One of the most important things I try to emphasize when training people on industrial forklifts is not to worry about their speed. Focus on being smooth and the speed will come with time.
That 3033R handled them logs well. I think a 3046 will fit in with your business and enhance all your other tractors and equipment. Right Christy???
Very interesting video, nice job really liked his wood work.
Nice work tim!
Great video Tim and Christy, I truly enjoyed watching it. Nice to have you back.
You are awesome!
Have fun, I love my 3R
Mark has a beautiful piece of land and really is taking care of it. I wonder how many of the 500 trees they planted will make it the first 3 years. Poor Tim didn't get any seat time in this video, just ridding on the back or those nice tractors.
Watching this channel is getting expensive, first I see a grapple....then I see how sweet a 3033R is 😍
If you move to a 3, heed Christy. 3046r. I have the 3039r and it is great too. Good rule is to get the biggest hp for the frame
I hope you and the family are doing ok. It would be cool to get your 2038r and this 3033r together to see a comparison video... ;). I only cringed a couple of times watching the tractor grill guard move as it hit the trailer fenders, but other than that, he did a really great job placing those big logs in the trailer..
Awesome video! 😊😄😃
I'm about to buy a workmaster 35 with loader. These videos make me feel confident its plenty tractor for me.
Great video! Really makes me want to trade in my 2025R for a 3R!
Awesome video
Tractor work is always good , but quail huntins is absolutely exhilarating. I dont know if anything taste better than quail. All the best to you all.
You got that right!
I sure like the three series John Deere tractors. Do you ever think the manufacturers give people too many choices? A person should really understand all the jobs you are going to want to do before you buy anything now. Great video.
Great video. I have some woods and I always wondered if I could save money over big box prices if I provided the logs to a local sawyer
Great video, but would have liked to see more of the IH tractor. Thanks Kent from PEI
Hi Tim!
Thanks to your videos We just decided to buy a new 1026r (here in Italy they don't sell 1025s)
Congratulations!!
I just upgraded to the 3039r coming from the 2038r, the 3039r is so much smoother and just seems like a way better built tractor. There is nothing wrong with the 2038r it will do just as much work, I just think build quality is way better, and hydraulics seem so much smoother.
Christy got him when he asked for another tractor 😂
Your next trailer you need to check out the telescope cylinder dump you'll love it with the listing power less strain on the pump and cylinder and lift more
Every time I watch your videos , I spend more money. When I came home with 16 foot ultimate dump trailer, I thought the wife was going to kill me.
Tim you should be a sales person or a teacher on how to drive and operated a tractor
My eldest son is Korean born, we adopted in 1986.
Hey Tim - do you have a video on coolant service for 1025R ?
No
I'm leaning toward the 3043D. Add a power beyond kit. 36.3 hp at the PTO.
Hey Tim, great video! Do you know where Mark got his ROPs-mounted basket?
I do not. I know that artillian.com recently introduced one.
do you know the tire sizes are? getting ready to order one like this
I do not off the top of my head. Get the Bwise ultimate dump, you will be amazed!
Interesting and some beautiful wood. Jdmich
I think what it most interesting about the auto throttle on the newer compact R series is how low of RPM it asks the hydraulic pump to run at. In a skid steer they seem to want you at 1500-1700rpms to even move the machine. Especially the FT4 machines. Have you come across any detrimental longevity issues with the auto throttle and low rpms? If you have covered this in the past just steer me towards the episodes.
That is just down the road from me
Tim,.....it is a good thing that Christy keeps you somewhat grounded?!?!
Video idea: Could you do 2 videos of you navigating the Deere website "building" and explaining what you're adding to make what you would order in a 1025r and 2038r?
Love the tractor I may want a smaller one how much is a 1025r
My 2018 1023e with 120r loader and blade was 10k total as a special deal
Really cool video Tim!
Hiiiiiiiiii
Grate vid
Do you know how many hp the 3033R is?
33 engine
I so miss wood working! It was a dying art but I see a comeback. People are getting tired of cheap made furniture
Tim, you have to sweet talk the Finance Committee when you want to add new equipment to the stable and not have to trade one in. Love the videos and content.
Hi Marks family. I went back through your videos and I didn't find a video I thought you had done. Could you let us in on your video and production equipment and any tips you've learned over the last 5 years of making the best Ag. videos on UA-cam. I'm trying to decide how to start making some content for family or posterity, and possible public viewing. It would be great to learn a little from the mature amateur videographers.
What kind of basket does mark have. That looks like something I need.
Not sure...but artillian.com has something like it.
I was looking because of the hard wood to be cut with band mill for floors it has spiked my interest in buying another tractor.to help me with neer everything I want to do.now with my land and my getting logs for my sawmill. Thankyou. I have owned them befor when I run a landscaping company befor I whent back to running heavy equipment. In oil field I was in accident in 2016 and was put on disability from head injury but I feel I could use a tractor again.
Tim, I’d like to see you with the new model of a 6430 ( not sure what they changed the model number to. )with the IVT transmission.
IVT would get ya into the small 6R 6090, 6115, the Command16 on the 5r is pretty nice too. But it's a legit mortgage payment for either of the 5/6R
Wow 🇺🇸
Is a Ballast Box or a Heavy hitch better for lifting big weights such as he had?
Either one works. Heavy hitch allows you to lift it higher off the ground to avoid dragging.
Also, HH allows flexible use of the weights elsewhere, like on the front of the tractor.
Tractor Time with Tim Thanks that really helps!!
Is your ultimate dump trailer 14’ or 16’?
16
Hello Tim and Christy, Tim need to purchase that trailer, where can I purchase me one?
Call the folks at bwisemfg.com Tell them you saw it here. They will hook you up.
Is that an AV20F or AV20H?
Whenever you buy a compact tractor just get the one with the most hp it’s worth the extra price
