Hey Whatever was a real departure for them and I was excited with the direction they were taking, then incredibly disappointed when they followed it up with a cover of Mandy! Did you hear Beautiful World or I Will Reach You yet, I'd recommend those as slightly less typical WL songs, though no videos with sexy suits! Also did you hear Mark's solo album Fire yet, it's amazing. Still so angry the music industry ignored it as it should have been a big hit!

My Blood was written by Ed Sheeran for Westlife. One of 4 songs he wrote for them. In fact he wrote 4 Westlife type songs and then when he heard they were getting back together, have it to them as he is a huge fan. Same with Better Man. It's also one of the 4 he wrote. The other 2 are Dynamite and Hello My Love. I'm not a blues fan but I like how it sounds on Hey Whatever. And yes they look great in that video. Not gonna say much, so as to not spoil anything for you. Let's just say you need to listen to their album "Allow us to be Frank". When you tell me that you love me is Diana Ross's song if I'm not mistaken. She doesn't get out diva'd a lot but respectfully, I think Mark did it twice in this video. Shane is my fave but Mark knocked that one out if the park. They performed with Mariah Carey, Backstreet Boys and Boyzone, amongst others too.
Better Man is just an absolute throwback to 'classic' Westlife to me and back in the day it would have been a top 5, if not no.1 hit; I also adore the orchestral version which is worth checking out. I love all 4 of these songs tbh. For some reason my mum (also a big Westlife fan who has been to many gigs with me over the years) hates Hey Whatever, so I just torment her with it haha! My Blood is amazing lyrically, and I love the touch where they added Mark in with Layla at the end as she was born after they'd made the video. When You Tell Me That You Love Me was on my (very long, Westlife heavy) playlist for my recent wedding to play during the meal, if I'd managed to get the music over to our venue, which sadly never happened!
