It's a coincidence many of these young players didn't thrive and are not thriving under Kerr. The common denominator: Steve Kerr. He's the problem. Kuminga and Podzimski, if given a true opportunity, can thrive somewhere else.
@@Invalidusrryea ppl also don’t realize he was traded from the warriors to the WIZARDS ☠️ such a downgrade in organization so him playing solid there is underlooked
If a player gets traded on or before Dec. 16 and the receiving team uses an exception to acquire him, his contract can get aggregated either the day before the trade deadline or the day of the trade deadline. If a player gets traded on Dec. 17 or later and the receiving team uses an exception to acquire him, his contract cannot get aggregated at the trade deadline. This is from Forbes.
demarcus cousins would have been a better example of a small market superstar considering he carried sacramento but i guess since they are a cali team it wouldnt be considered small market? I think its never been an issue with small market or not, damian lillard in portland carried the trail blazers for years. You just have to be that guy and consistent. AD on the pelicans swept the blazers in the first round and took a game off the prime golden state. You just gotta be that good.
@ kings don’t want more bench riders and people who will be bad in 2-3 years lol especially if they are moving their best player they’ve had in 15 years. Kings don’t need Sengun or Amen or Whitmore or Sheppard. They do need a Jabari Smith Jr. otherwise the rockets can just accept and get used to the Van Fleet experience. Kings gonna trade the Rockets a championship they gonna expect a decent package in return.
@@breadformyfamily4175 I think your wrong lol if he demands a trade and wants to go to his hometown team it limits they’re leverage for other trades.. also if your rebuild is around Jabari then yall are cooked lol he has potential to be an elite role player which is why I like him next to senguin but he’s not a star or the engine for a team… if they don’t want the package id like to see what package they do take from elsewhere bet it won’t be better than ours most team don’t have cap an assets trade.. reed was the number 3 pick lol a couple months ago cam has elite talent we just deep at the wing which is why we won’t trade Jabari we thin in the post but we’ll see tho
As a rockets fan makes no sense for the Kings to get Jabari since they already have Keegan. I think the Kings would want Jalen Cam possibly Reed and 3 firsts for him.
Vassell, Collins, and the Hawks 2025 first round pick get the trade done IMO. I think that's pretty fair to both sides, SPurs still have their treasure trove of first round picks while obtaining a near superstar, while the Kings get a potential lottery pick in a stacked draft with a very good rising star in Vassell, who probably won't come near Fox in production but will be a foundational piece moving forward. Again, I'm including Vassell in this deal as I think he and Fox's playstyles are too similar and the Spurs would rather have the flexibility that 1st rounders give them if they want another star or an intriguing player out the draft.
Kings tried to build around 3 low to mid tier all stars who took all of the cap space while ignoring shooting and defense and look what happened. Their big “3” is laughable
If Fox leaves, that Tyrese Haliburton trade looks worse for the Kings future

who has thrived after leaving GS? Poole? Maybe those players arent as good as you think

Kings are expecting a haul for their star. If the Rockets want him it will cost them Jabari Smith Jr and draft picks
Why Jabari we could figure out something we got plenty of prospects how about…
Fred, tari, reed 1 pick swap

Orlando would be a great spot for him to get traded to

The Orlando magic bro wtf they need a point guard
orlando had better guards like suggs, mid bench like cole anthony, and a young anthony black who have a potential to be a good back up guard.
