Glad to hear your anniversary was fun, hope it rekindled some love. As far as some brokers. It's a sad thing now, but dispatchers or self dispatch, one must get a MC # and check their ratings. Or use a replicable Factoring Co. They have done the foot work. Including a credit check. If that broker is not factorable, there probably trying to double broker the load. Lessen for the push to take it too.
@adventuresintrucking1995 just replaced the pcm ($2,000) couldn't find one for two weeks... finally found one and had it reprogrammed... I'm replacing the trailer electric brakes, wheel bearings and seals myself...im also replacing the front part that hooks up to the ball... I'm doing everything as legal as possible... i was projecting a start day for January 2023 but it looks more like September of 2023... Im not sweating it.. everything happens for a reason and God knows when the best time to start will be...!!!! I'm excited to be out on the road soon and God willing i will run into you guys and meet y'all in person...!!!!
I enjoyed the video on the tyer wear interesting I have never seen a tyre do cupping like that. I always enjoy your tarping and loading I always learn something. And I liked the go cart track. I get loads cancelled sometimes but I don’t worry it doesn’t happen much. And I found if you don’t get upset like most it gets noticed. And there are lots of loads that work out great and pay well. and you’re in the right place at the right time. I focus on my net profit at the end of the year. I meet a lot of blokes that focus on there expenses day to day week by week. And there unhappy. I choose happiness and focus on the good and the people I meet and my every day freedom and MY ADVENTURES IN TRUCKING.And when things get tough I grow as a person. And I remember that I chose to do this type work.Anyway thanks for another awesome video 👍😊
Canceled loads happening more now. Dot made me late to an appointment 45 min. Soon as I pulled up Broker called said it was canceled. Want to see my inspection report.
Just recently found your channel, and I am really enjoying following you guys. I am considering getting into the hotshot game here in Texas. Thanks for all the great content, be safe !
All i will say is just do your research before jumping out here texas has more trucks than freight so the rates are generally lower there. Same with Florida. Alls thats to say if you a hustler you’ll be fine not trying ti discourage you of course ya know
Thanks for the heads up! I kind of figured that there was a lot of trucks here. I retired from local govt service, now its time to get back to work!! Thanks again for the info!@@adventuresintrucking1995
Bro, I’m new one with CDL and in this country, can you explain please what’s the difference between your truck and semi truck. Why you choose this truck?
Sure! First off congrats! But this truck is different than a semi in a few ways… the biggest being that its a class 7 tractor derated down to 5 (freightliner just changed the sticker in the door to say 19,500) still has all class 7 components. Next would be for us its a dual purpose vehicle so it has to pul our camper to and from campgrounds. Some campgrounds dont allow semi trucks (which this one is not)
I would say probably the fact that i get to make memories again back out on the road with him but as an adult.. he used to take me otr when i was little.
It was something my dad came up with back in the early 2000s and because im a welder/fabricator i just recreated it for our current setup. Just had to get the material and i welded it all up
Your truck with that enclosed trailer looks way nice.Georgia in the house 💯
Appreciate the love bro! 💪🏾 gotta represent!

@@adventuresintrucking1995 thanks bro, how about fuel? Is it same us semi truck?
@@mrray6381 yep 100 gallons (2 50 gal tanks one on each side) and we go to truck stops just like semis
Hot shot shorty Father’s Day just passed what’s the highlight of working along side pops

Have you tracked your mileage to determine what the air deflector does for your mpg's?
Hauling a connex with a ram 3500 with this deployed we saw around 9-10mpg (depending on roads and speed) without it its around 6
So who won the go-kart laps?
🤣🤣 i got one he got one .. second time around i got boxed out by a little girl for the whole race … dad recruited her for defense 😂
What eld are you guys using ?
Verizon
Where did you guys get the airfoil?

@@adventuresintrucking1995 its very nice I need to make one for our setup
@@albertsouth4482 yea it saves 2-3 mpg tbh its fantastic. I know that we will probably take orders for them during the winter
@@adventuresintrucking1995 let me know we will order a few
