Praying he's able to turn his problem to Jesus. Calvary chapel does have recovery centers-if you can afford it. Gets the word and support & accountability along w group therapy.
Shalom well if I was not in pain management due to MS BROKEN BACK BROKEN NECK SEVERE SPINAL STENOSIS ETCETCETC … taking “ DRUGS AS U PUT IT”, I COULDNT TAKE STEPS TO THE BATHROOM OR LIVE ANY QUALITY OF LIFE if not for the opiates and other RXS , If TRUE CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS ( documented and compliant to MD orders), the true pain patients have suffered because of the “ ILLEGAL DRUG USERS”! The PAIN PATIENTS SUICIDE NUMBERS HAVE ALMOST DOUBLED”! So a mind set judging chronic pain patient’s for being treated the same as with any other Real disease, so they can have some quality of life is very judgement. So just as JESUS DID, ACCEPT PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE AND DONT JUDGE UNLESS YOU HAVE LIVED IN THEIR SHOES!
Praise God! I have a sister in this situation. Harder for the family then for the addict.
Brother, the first thing you should do in the name of Jesus its don't refer to your son as a drug addiction anymore, I went through the same with my son, give your son in prayer to Jesus & don't stop praying for his deliverance, the Lord will come through.
I heard a minister say, if Satan reminds you off your past, remind him of his future.
My husband and I don't go to a particular church anymore cause we are on the road a lot. We visit my mother's church once in a while but while we are on the road we listen to you and Gary Hamrick. We appreciate your teachings, it helps us stay awake at the wheel and learn as we drive! Thank you for being obedient!
Dear family in Christ I really need your prayers concerning a situation I’m in. I’ll just make this short. I met someone about two years ago at where I worked at the time and I was charmed instantly by her. I was in awe how beautiful she was. Me being in introvert, having social anxiety and low self esteem I still had the courage to talk to her. I found out that she liked me through loose lips but it was a kept secret for awhile. That gave me mixed emotions and at first thought I was sad because I felt that she may have actually like me at one point in time but probably realized she could throw a stone from anywhere and do better than me. I wrote to her anyway telling her how I feel, she was actually dating someone at the time which I had no idea she never really brought up any personal when we talked not even her birthday. I had to tell her how I felt about her again a few months after and gave her a gift. After that I started feeling really sad because as the days went by it seemed less likely more and more that she might change her mind. I wrote to her one last time getting things off my chest that I never got to tell her. She said she was uncomfortable and said it would be best if we didn’t say anything more than hello and goodbye to each other. A few very painful months after I ultimately left but she said she was glad she met me when I said my goodbye to her. It was hard to say goodbye because I thought she was who God made for me and I was probably never going to see her again. Not too long into being at my new job I started missing her and crying out to God. I started feeling alittle better but all of a sudden I had dreams with her in them a few days in a row. I couldn’t understand why God allowed this to happen to me and kept crying out. I don’t understand why God would show someone so wonderful to me and have me get my hopes up. I miss her soo much and I’ve been crying out every night. I don’t know why God allowed this or what he is doing regarding this. I know he hears my cries but I’m in incredible pain and I really need your prayers. God bless you if you’ve read threw all this.

I’m sorry that this happened to you. I was on the other side, when I was younger. Maybe she also has issues of her own. We really don’t know. I was a messed up young girl. Please forgive her. Forgive yourself too. There are things in this world we will never know why God allowes it. Someday, I truly believe, I know, it will be clear to us because God will make it known to us. But for now, I pray that you keep your eyes on Lord Jesus. Forgive. ❤ pray for peace, joy and comfort. ❤ From the Philippines.
I had a 3-4 year’s time of strong attraction, some kind of “relationship,” the possibly of relationship with a man. I wanted my way, my feelings and emotions attraction, desires for a relationship with him were so strong-bound. I wanted him to live obedient to Jesus, and, then, be together, for way longer than I should have. Emotionally bound & caught-up!
Initially, and the more time went on, I knew this was not of God, and I never had The Lord’s Peace, throughout.
I should have let go & Let God from the very beginning. Obey God. Remain faithful.
Stand strong, stay fixed In The Lord & His Truth, Trust His Provision, in every area, of your life, even if your emotions are screaming and you’re not “feeling” it.
Trust Him to Provide the mate he has for you.
God IS Faithful and Good.
In the meantime, Ask Him to prepare you for your spouse and your spouse for you. Trust that God has heard your prayer. Wait in faith. I pray this for you, in Jesus’Name.
Maybe you could seek out a Christian counselor to help you process your feelings and point you to specific scriptures that will help you as you heal from this experience. One thing to remember is that God doesn’t give you the feelings you’re feeling. Feelings happen because you are alive and are a human. People often blame God for things that they don’t like that happen in their life but the Bible tells us in John 16:33 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
We are not promised a happy life when we follow Christ, nor that once we become a Christian we will go down fluffy bunny way and all of our problems will be solved. Many people, when a loved one dies, shake their fist at God and say to him, “Why did you let this happen?” Yet everyone is going to die one day. The fact that it happened when you didn’t want it to doesn’t mean God is out to get you, it simply means that the person fulfilled all that God willed for them on this earth and it was their time to leave.
God has a plan for each of us. Instead of asking God “Why did you let me feel like this or why did you let this happen”, perhaps try, “If this is not what you have for me, I ask that you reveal your will for me and if you have someone for me to pursue this plan with, show me who that person is”. God is always there, is always listening, and always answers. His answer may not always be the one you want to hear, but it will always be the answer that will bring about YOUR good and HIS glory. If I gave my children everything they wanted all the time they would make themselves sick from eating too much candy, bratty from never being told no, and always self centered because they will never think of what others want rather what they do at all times. God gives us these children as yet another lesson in his nature toward us. Sometimes the answer to what you’re asking for is no because he sees that if you get the thing you’re asking for, it ultimately will bring you harm and not good.
A good Christian counselor can help you process the pain, but also help to teach you about the true nature of Christ so you will have peace resting in the will of God instead.
I’m praying for you. Please pray for me as well. I don’t know our heavenly father hears our cries, but I also know there’s a lot of people worse off than me.
I think growing older is a wonderful privilege. I want to learn to glorify God in every stage of my life

I have a similar experience as an American living in Korea. Even if I understood enough Korean to follow a sermon, I don't know if any Korean church teaches on End Times biblical prophecy. (I have a number of Korean friend pastors. Maybe I'll ask them! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ)
Update: I told one of my pastor friends, who has a PhD in theology, about Bible prophecy supporting pre-Tribulation Rapture, and he didn't know what I was talking about!

I could relate to the airplane story! Years ago I was in a plane from Phoenix to Tucson when we got close to the Tucson airport, we encountered a similar situation. It got quiet on the plane and I cried out God of Jesharun this is your daughter Christine help us!!! The plane instantly was calm and everyone was staring at me and looking relieved. We landed no problem. I didn't know at the time that there was a reference to Jeshuran in the Bible. I looked it up. He who rides the winds

I wish I had a pastor like you here in Albany NY. I recently left my church because they are no longer actually preaching but tickling ears. Couldn’t take it anymore. Your ministry is life to me. And I am so so so very grateful for you and for Amir as well. Thank God for technology and the ability to watch your services online. At least I’m still getting fed. Don’t get me wrong I get fed by the Holy Spirit spending countless hours with Him daily and in His word but I still need great spirit filled teachers in my life that preach sound biblical doctrine!❤️🙌🏻🙏🏼

And it’s SO SO SAD THAT the pastor hired a “Solo” “paid salary” worship individual and all the Praise and Worship team has gone their separate ways, to another church, so sad.

When evangelising and people said they did go to church at Christmas and easter ,i often said jokingly 'At least you're going regularly'. That made the point that there was a personal relationship with the God, they they were missing completely. I told them about the Way, the Truth and the Life. I pray and believe for God to come to them, to change their thinking and grant them salvation🙏💖

I always love your sermons Pastor Jack you speak the truth from the Bible and sometimes I know God convicts me of something or steps on my toes but, I love it, I don't get mad, I just ask for forgivness and I learn so much from you even though I read the Bible every day I started last year from cover to cover twice now and it's true how the more you read the more confident you are to quote the Bible to friends and family I find myself doing it all the time lol. I more than anything am ready to be caught up with Jesus in the air.

Purchased Jack read thru Bible for a donation. The bible organized to make it easier to read. Plus it's NKJV. I usually use gateway bible online but it's nice to hold a book for a change.
