Interestingly when I filmed this I hadn’t actually used this on a car camp, fast forward a year + and actually I’ve used it loads 😃
I mastered two things with this kettle, firstly only fill what you need - in this test max filled it 700ml with cold water, but also I always take a thermos with me, so putting thermos Water in, cuts the time by over half 🙏
The big thing is tho, it depends on how much power you need in your Jackery - for me even if I used 30% wouldn’t be a problem as would still have loads of juice left for charging stuff :)

Great Video! Have same set up , same jackery 240. I have experienced many hotels that no longer have in room coffee makers ; so I carry the kettle with AC adapter and jar of instant coffee for first cup of coffee in morning. Also while camping in our RV , I make first cup of the morning since wife stays in bed a little longer and no need to brew large pot when it will get cold waiting for her to wake. Get a Spardar 12V kettle, there’s a switch to use it at 80 W or 120 W. It will either take 15 minutes or 22 minutes to boil a few cups of water and only uses about 16% of my 320wh portable LFP battery. @@stephenshop4946 tbh that would be the same with anything isn’t it. Internally this looks like any ordinary kettle :)

Really that's to long to much draw on the battery but I guess if that's all your gonna use it for ok. I think fire would be more efficient. Good to know these things

Hi Donnie- yeah your spot on, since have made this have realised it’s much more efficient to boil water from a thermos (I always have one of those too) takes less than half the time and battery 😀

It all depends on what power station you have though :) At the time this worked perfectly for me and my J240 and had no complaints for the over year that I used it … but now I have bigger and more powerful power stations, I too have a normal kettle in the car 🚗❤️
