I Grew My Own Native Plant Seeds

- When you grow native plants, in your garden, pollinators will make sure you have plenty of seeds to harvest in the fall! My native plant garden produces tons of extra seeds for seed starting, giving away to friends, or using for restorations. I did a couple of seed hauls last month but this is the BIGGEST seed haul because it's harvested from my own backyard, in eastern North America. Our native prairie plants give us so many seeds to start new gardens to help the monarch butterflies, bees, and other wildlife that rely on the prairie.

Thanks for spreading the word about collecting native seeds! 🙌
It's my favorite thing! Thanks for watching! 🌱🌱🌱
Awww I can’t say enough about your channel, girly. I fricken love it here.
Thank you so much! We love having you! 🌱🌱🌱
Right? I hit that bell icon and I want notifications for all new uploads! I want this in my routine of daily/weekly garden videos, alongside Gardening With Creekside, Garden Answer, HortTube, Tropical Plant Party, Eli & Kate, and I know I am missing people... 😂
Good stuff Lisa!!! 🎉
Thanks so much! 🌱🌱🌱
I have an abandoned railroad rightofway nearby, and I cannot recall ever seeing wildflowers along it. You'd think it'd be rich with coneflowers and rudbekias, but I think our local seed bank has been long since depleted. Even when driving around, all you ever see in bloom is some goldenrod and the occasional oddball that got missed by the mowers. My goal is to repopulate that right-of-way so that I can see all sorts of blooms throughout the year.
That sounds great!
Fun video! Felt like we were just two friends chillin on your porch, looking at seeds.
Aww, I like that vibe! Thanks for watching! 🌱🌱🌱
That's a lot of seeds! Wow!
It really is! Thanks for watching! 🌱
Great video. Thanks for sharing 👍.
Thanks for watching! 🌱
This is fantastic! Super inspired
🌱🌱🌱
I love this content!!!! Please do more, I was so pissed to have to plant dill because MI decided to have the black swallowtail butterfly as the state insect but in Lisa we trust, so I’m gonna rely only on Goldenrod. 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks so much! There's nothing wrong with dill if you grow it for cooking or just for fun but yes, Golden Alexander is native to eastern North America and will come back every year and give you more plants over time for sure! 🌱🌱🌱
Great video! You are an inspiration to both new and experienced gardeners! And I can't say enough about your presentations! Not sure if you were in production in the past or if it is natural. Nice either way! I struggle so much on camera! You are an inspiration there as well. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for such a nice compliment! I struggle too but am getting better each time.
Ha! I’m also a gardener with allergies. 😅
Thanks for the seed saving tips.
Mid-West? Your channel states Eastern USA.
The eastern half 😅
