According to WordleBot, I missed 7 other words (listed alphabetically):

I considered PUNCH as a strategic 2nd guess, but decided to take one shot at a possible deuce.

Nice solve. This one was an unlucky 5 for me. As of the second word, there were only 4 words left possible, and ended up having to guess all but one of them.
