Again listening this great song. I think it is so beautiful these same singers today watching themselves a song from 1981. If they are alive it may bring good memories from 40 years ago.
Pat…from our perspective, gone way too soon. One of the greatest quartet tenors ever. This was a great iteration of the Blackwood Brothers. Great song!
I had the priviledge of singing with Pat when he left the Blackwood Brothers. He was one of the kindest and easiest people to work with and had a powerful voice and gentle heart. I know his addition to God's heavenly choir was extraordinary. R.I.P. Patrick. God was ready for you to come home!!!
We're in the middle of COVID-19 disaster. Some people are getting frustrated, angry and fed up. Some of you're experiencing kinda cabin fever. But don't forget we're with you and we can overcome. There are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. As I've mentioned before remember that we all love you. Whoever, wherever you are. Stay safe. Have a good one. He is there as always.
You guys changed my life when I travelled with you for many years. You have jump started my ministry. Many heads of states got saved! Look up Mid-America Committee.
wonderful memories of Pat Hoffmaster when he was with the Blackwood Brothers. I remember the last time I saw him. He knew he was not going to make it another year. Love you Pat, will not be long till we all be singing with the saints
The best tenor of all time. I was only 15 when I heard them in the early 80's. I called him Mr. Tenor. Still have never heard a more beautiful voice in 40 years.
Wow, does this ever bring back memories. My mom was good friends with James Blackwood for over 50 yrs so I grew up knowing him and the various groups. Pat Hoffmaster was a wonderful singer and a wonderful husband and father. Most people don't know he was also a Chiropractor but his obvious calling was to sing gospel music and he was one of the best ever!!
Mariana de J. Nunez It didn't seem like but something reassured me that I he couldn't brought me that far overcoming so many struggles for nothing and this song touches those fibers of the soul as it defines so clearly God's commitment one to one in faithfulness although we don't feel him he is walking us through. I can't get enough of this song, always accomplishing tears and tears....he was there and always will ❤😘🙏 THANK YOU JEHOVÁ MY REFUGE.
Time after time I was searching for peace in some void I was trying to blame all my ills on this world I was in Surface relationships used me till I was done in But all the while someone was begging to free me from sin He was there all the time He was there all the time Waiting patiently in line He was there all the time Never again will I search for a fake rainbows end Now that I’ve found the answer my life is just starting to rhyme Sharing each new day with Him is a breath of fresh life Oh what I've missed He's been waiting right here all the time He was there all the time He was there all the time Waiting patiently in line He was there all the time

Do you by chance have a clip of Pat singing I want to be more like jesus?? I have the old cassette tape from this era of him doing it and it was amazing....On youtube,i can only find James singing it.
Let me get this straight: God waits patiently in line to free us from sin? Jesus didn't wait at the tomb of Lazarus; if you wait on the dead, be they physical or spiritual, you will wait till you turn to dust. This sort of nonsense makes humanity the deciding factor. Romans 8:7-8 and Ephesians 2:1-10 make it plain that God doesn't wait on us; we're dead in sin.
"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.." - 2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)

Beautiful‘beautiful beautiful voice s
Looks like Turner on bass, what a voice.
YES He was, Amen.
Been fan of B.B BROTHERS SINCE I WAS 11 OR 12. 80 NOW. BACK WHEN R.J. BLACKWOOD AND BILL LYLES WERE ALIVE
You guys changed my life when I travelled with you for many years. You have jump started my ministry. Many heads of states got saved! Look up Mid-America Committee.
The Blackwood Brothers were never showboaters like a lot of gospel quartets. I always liked their character on a stage.
Well Ken Turner was a bit of a hoot. Always making it fun.

What a Beautiful Voice Pat !!!
I feel we need this reminder today. Miss all of them, what a blessing the Blackwoods were to this world.
Beautiful song with the message the whole world needs to hear......
Pat Hoffmaster was my Uncle, Love you Pat
The best tenor of all time. I was only 15 when I heard them in the early 80's. I called him Mr. Tenor. Still have never heard a more beautiful voice in 40 years.
Pat was my cousin so I guess we are somehow related!
Spent a lot of time with him when he was in Georgia. Popped fireworks at my house with Renee and the family. We had some good times.
So surprising that many are more focused on the beautiful voices rather than the message the voices seek to convey.
Who ever sees this will you pray for me. Roger
Love that 80’s beat.

Love this music, and the Savior of which it speaks.

Thank you for posting these! Have followed the Blackwood's all my life. Went on a Holy land tour with them in 1979. These vidoe's are precious!
I have always loved this group...
Time after time I was searching for peace in some void
I was trying to blame all my ills on this world I was in
Surface relationships used me till I was done in
But all the while someone was begging to free me from sin
He was there all the time
He was there all the time
Waiting patiently in line
He was there all the time
Never again will I search for a fake rainbows end
Now that I’ve found the answer my life is just starting to rhyme
Sharing each new day with Him is a breath of fresh life
Oh what I've missed He's been waiting right here all the time
He was there all the time
He was there all the time
Waiting patiently in line
He was there all the time
One of the best versions of this song. I love the Blackwoods.
Pat was marvelous.
Beautiful
Time after time I was searching for peace in some void
I was trying to blame all my ills on this world I was in
Surface relationships used me till I was done in
But all the while someone was begging to free me from sin
Chorus
He was there all the time
He was there all the time
Waiting patiently in line
He was there all the time
Never again will I search for a fake rainbows end
Now that I’ve found the answer my life is just starting to rhyme
Sharing each new day with Him is a breath of fresh life
Oh what I've missed He's been waiting right here all the time
Chorus
He was there all the time
He was there all the time
Waiting patiently in line
He was there all the time
All the guys in Blackwood Brothers are friends but Tomy the piano player is missed. Where are you?
Beautiful song... The Couriers did a good version of this.
So very pretty! ♥️
God is in control don't forget to pray for you and others
YES, HE WAS
