using the chopsticks as the weapon and then in the end as the utensil to feed himself is metaphor for criticizing capitalism but still having to participate in capitalism to survive. mhhh the nuance. he's so hot for that. Karl Marx would have loved him and streamed his album.
Ryuichi Sakamoto, the artist featured on Snooze, was a Japanese composer who composed many beautiful pieces for movies and won awards like a grammy and an oscar for it. Unfortunately, he passed away three weeks ago after a battle with cancer. His most famous masterpiece is 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence', which is SUGA's favorite track of him and SUGA even posted a video playing it. He admires him deeply and has talked about how big of an influence he was to him: "When I was young, my parents took me to see a re-run of Last Emperor (Sakamoto composed the OSTs for the movie). That was when I first experienced the feeling of being awed by music. I began composing music when I was twelve and I dreamed about my future by listening to many of your music and sampling them. There are many musicians who have inspired me but you are one of the people who have influenced me the most." I think this is what makes Snooze and his feature on it even more meaningful. SUGA was comforting the younger idols/his juniors through the lyrics while the song features the very man who inspired him. The backtrack played by Sakamoto sounded so so beautiful.
female vocal in SDL and life goes on is ADORA. she used to be one of bight's in-house producers. she now also has her own career as a singer. some of BTS' songs she's worked on are spring day, 134340, euphoria, epiphany, so what, etc. if you've reacted to suga's previous solo works, you'll also find her background vocal in moonlight, 28, people, interlude: set me free from his D-2 mixtape
oh god i was waiting for this. D-Day albums means a lot too much to me because the messages he conveyed through amygdala and snooze just stuck in my head oh god min yoongi is so emotionally intelligent, the way he put out his music is such a slap in the face to many in power while a medicine to everyone who's not.
Same, those two songs both hurt for me as a fan because of how much he bared his soul through the lyrics and during the live concerts but now they're like comfort songs for me too. And I often cry to them. It really reminds me that I'm not alone when I feel down and this album really uplifts me sm. Ofc, BTS are just great at making music that touches your heart...
Is Suga the only one in the kpop world who is brave enough to do this type of music with strong message ? I dont hear any other kpop artists deliveing this kind of message and visuals. His lyricism is awesome.
I saw that snooze is specifically speaking to other idols and entertainers in the industry. He's talking to them as someone who has been in the industry for 10+ years and is giving them a comforting message full of his own advice that he wasn't able to get when he was starting out. It's especially emotional because a few days ago a member of the group astro, moonbin, committed suicide likely due to many of the issues that yoongi talks about in this song
And it’s meaningful for Woosung to be the feature on Snoozeaa am, as someone also born in 1993 (born less than two weeks before SUGA) who has been through a LOT in his career. I was disappointed that Michael skipped right past his feature every time he sang. He deserves better than that. He has a beautiful voice and he blends so well with SUGA.
I also think in a way it's a like message to himself as well or a reminder to take care of himself. Because when he performed 'Snooze' live during his last encore concert he said during the Weverse live that he got emotional both from being a senior now thinking about the younger artists, but also because of all his memories with the members over the last 10 years flashing through his mind. :(
Maybe I'm wrong but the SDL vocals are from ADORA, she worked with them until 2020 as a producer and providing vocals (She now debuted as an idol herself) and she said last year that Yoongi contaced her and ask her to help him with some songs, I think she's in SDL and Live goes on. She is also the vocalist on seesaaw.
you’re right! before the album was even dropped she said how yoongi had asked her to participate on one of his tracks. and after the album dropped she confirmed she was on SDL!!
26:03 he got into a car accident before 2013 when he was a trainee, he was working as a delivery boy and a car hit him which broke his shoulder but since he was scared if he told the company about it he would be cut from the debut group (bts) or delayed the debut date he trained with a broken shoulder and never treated it, it damaged his shoulder permanently which affected his dancing and if you see some bts concert clips you can see him grabbing his shoulder in pain after performances with hard choreographies, for almost 8 years he performed with his damaged shoulder and never once lacked in the performance aspect he literally gave his all, in late 2020 he finally got a shoulder surgery to treat it because his shoulder pains after dancing were getting worse and that's why he couldn't be on some of the promotions for bts' "be" album so if you watch some interviews from that time you won't see him with the members since he was in recovery (the bts members still brought cardboard cut-outs of him and couldn't stop talking about how much they missed him so he was somewhat present hehe).
Another thing: Amygdala is going to have a MV too, and in the countdown for Haegeum he said that we should whatch Daechwita - Haegeum -Amygdala MVs in one sit, in this order
I agree a lot with you, Yoongi is also the most relatable to me, I've been with them for years and that never changed. I cried so hard with Snooze when i read the lyrics because oh my god!! He also added to this song the lines of So Far Away (honestly my favorite Agustd song) where he talks about living without having a dream is painful and dreading, and now with this song he hopes that those who have will succeed without having to gave up on themselves in the proccess. It's something he said a lot to the members of the younger group of their label, TXT, in his show Suchwita, this song looks a lot like a message to them also. Even if our struggles are different, Yoongi is the most honest about the most heavy topics and his music speaks in a personal manner like hes talking to you directly and always includes something like a pat on the back or a kiss in the forehead lol. He's very considerate to people who might be going through something similar to him or just struggles with life in general, I think that's why we can relate so much. His honesty resonates and his words of comfort are always just right, he really just hopes he can get us to go through another day, he's an amazing artist and person in general.
My son listened to snooze and the part that he repeats to us that everything will be fine, he told me is the same thing that I repeat to myself when I have anxiety. my son during the pandemic and due to sad events that left us he was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and BTS was a relief in our lives
After Agust D / Suga explained Haegeum also meant "a liberation from restrictions / bans or something forbidden and based on his lyrics he questions so many societal issues eg. going against conformity, herd mentality, loss of creative thinking, being slaves to prejudice, capitalism, money, UA-cam, flexin' and misuse of freedom like freedom of speech to hurt / harm others", it made me think of so many things and reflect again. Thought provoking is an understatement. Bravely calling out everything / everyone who abuse power, money, profits and promote self indulgence etc with nothing vague about what he means! My personal perspective is that in this song and throughout the whole D-Day album, the ultimate survivor is Min Yoongi reborn, forged in the relentless fires between his personas Suga and Agust D on & off stage. Min Yoongi is the proverbial scarred Phoenix that rose from the ashes of his trauma and life experiences to evolve into the human being that he has always wanted to be and how he is trying his damn best to live humane in this crazy world.
One of my favorite things about Min Yoongi is the way he shows us what music really can be. He has mastered the art of distilling the human experience into potent catharsis. His music makes us think, feel, reflect - he makes us want to be better people who can make a better world. And on top of all that, everything just sounds SO GOOD. The beat, texture, flow, and atmosphere of each track is impeccable and perfectly suits the tone of it's content. The arrangement of the album as a whole is absolutely masterful. Beginning with loud declarations, sliding into vulnerable ponderings, then understated truths, and landing with comfort and reassurance. It's just so perfect, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to listen and absorb everything he has given us. Also, knowing some of what he's been through, and to see how he has grown into the person he is today with such strength and grace - I'm so glad he's here.
snooze is such a beautiful song, and even more when you know that he wrote it to other idols and rookies, because he knows how hard it can be for them in the industry.
6:56 it's kinda funny that I see this after 3 of his conncerts already, but this song is actually more towards the ending of the concert than the beginning.
I seen Agust in LA on May 14th. I get emotional at some concerts, but this concert.. wow.. he performed Snooze and I could not stop crying. It was so personal to me. The best concert i've ever went to. Hands down. He's such an amazing performer.
Thank you as always for this reaction! I think I listened to this album at least 3 times today and I already feel like I won't be able to live without it. This album just hit and surprised me in a freaking good way! The way I can feel Yoongi's growth through it is just so amazing. In his first mixtape ( that was released in 2016) I felt like he had something to prove as BTS were still trying to show the world what kind of music they could pull off ( they literally had to fight against prejudice) so he rapped pretty fast and his songs were more about their haters and current succes at that time. In the second album, you can definitely observe a growth from his first project as it contains songs from 2016 to 2020 and I feel like the songs are bound with a logical thread ( I have no idea if this expression actually exists in English ), so you can feel a distinct progression throughout the album. In D-2 he still shows us is inner thoughts and struggles like he did on Agust D ( with So far away and The last) but he matured a lot and we can sense that he sees the world with a new perpective. But in D-DAY, Yoongi becomes even more intimate with us and the growth from his previous album is there again! Yoongi isn't afraid of what the future holds anymore and became so optimist ( I was really surprised about this side of him actually). He acknowledges that all the hardships we've been through define who we are now, in the present and encourages us to keep going even if it's hard because everything is eventually going to be okay ( yeah you can tell I'm a big fan of Snooze :) Whatever all of this just to say that Yoongi trully impressed me and that he is such a great example!
43:17 he is literally talking about how when he/BTS does speak up they're looked down on and also how if they don't speak up they're looked down on having the influence and not speaking up. What's funny is literally for Haegeum, he's been targeted by 1000s of people right now on twt calling him hypocrite for speaking up on Capitalism cuz he's now a millionaire. These idiots want to complain about everything. Suga of all the people has faces the wrath of capitalism literally debuting in a small company what money & influence can do. Now he's using his position & influence rebelling against and showing beautifully in the mv that despite him rebelling at the end of the day he is also part of the system. I wonder why other forms of art or cinema are highly acclaimed for talking about issues like this but when BTS/in this case Suga does it, he is called a hypocrite
Yoongi is so raw in his lyrics and sound. It’s not hidden it’s not as poetic per se. It’s poignant. Full of emotion. Same. I love all of them. And I also think Yoongi is one of the group who brings this kind of level to them. They have something beautiful they add to the group. This is Yoongi’s forte
Thank you for this. I’m so happy you’re gonna see him live. They’re the greatest and better live. Got waitlisted so hope you do a mini reaction to his concert and how it made you feel. Borahae
yeeey i'm early. this album is a masterpiece. i've been listening it since it came out and my favorite is polar night 🔥 it inspired me to write new lyrics and i was in a writer's block for such a long time it's amazing. also i've watched the road to d-day docu on disney+ and snooze performance made me cry. yoongi really gets me. he's my inspiration.
The amygdala is the part of your brain responsible for the fight or flight response. In his song, yoongi is asking for it to act already and save him since he’s too numb to make a decisive move. It’s such great lyricism, amygdala is my absolute favorite :)
Michael is back at it again😭👏 my favorite reaction among any other reactions out there when it comes to BTS' albums whether as a group or solo. the thing i like about your reaction, Michael, is the fact that you can make me cry harder after i cried enough by the lyrics themselves. reading the lyrics while listening to the songs for the first time already made me bawl my eyes out, then watching your album reaction afterwards just make me cry even harder for the various reasons. you make me notice the things that i missed, you make me appreciate the album even deeper to a whole another level, you help to emphasize some lines that i might not quite understand at first. that's the thing, when i already love an album so much then someone can make me love the album even more, i like that. and i'm on the same page as you about Yoongi being the most relatable member because of personal reasons. that's why i always listen to his whole discography when life gets too hard because his words-i feel like-are the only thing that understands me 💜
this album hit me so hard emotionally, i cant even explain how comforting it is to hear all these types of messages and words from yoongi T__T things have been so hard for me lately personally, but hearing snooze and d-day are SUCH a safehold. what he does with his art by being so vunerable and honest is just something special. As always thank you for the reaction !! I'm so glad you enjoyed the album
Ah, look a reactor that’s not just giving us lip service or annoying facial and over-the-top reactions. I appreciate your calm and thoughtful comments and feedbacks on the album/songs. 😊
Form of Therapy - a gentleman who’s a video editor or something. Comments and provides feedback on the editing/video production aspect more, but I haven’t seen a video reaction at this time for Haegeum. Another one that actually also comments on the production is Joey “Lucky Boy” Nato. He’s a producer, rapper, so his comments/feedback are on the music production - what instruments and such. He’s a bit too happy (loud?) for my style, but he’s cool. 😊. He hasn’t done a reaction on Haegeum that I could see at this time. Also try Jim Games - also another producer. All three have done reactions on BTS and members’ solo works.
you should watch his past bts reactions i think they're really good, from the start it seems he went in with no prejudices and has analyzed the songs and lyrics really well
@@jcin9129 Tribe Loui. He's not so calm but I love his reactions. After listening to an album he give his final thoughts in the next video after listening to the album few times. I think it's really awesome. Jurnalist is also one of the reactors who I really like. Both of them seems to be really honest. Jurnalist also have reactions to the Boracity Magazine videos which I really appreciate.
I stayed for the whole review of the album and man, what a delight it was. Not only I liked your imput on the lyrics, showing points I haven't considered in previous listenings, but you also showed an amazing empathy towards Yoongi as an artist. I guess this is a natural effect to Suga being, indeed, a very relatable person. Great channel, and I loved your voice, it's so soothing!
He was indeed, not prepared LMAO. I saw this man live NY and I’ve seen bts twice (thinking I’m SOOOOO prepared) and more than ever; sobbed, laughed, lost my voice, almost fainted several times, danced, and dragged my fiancé as HIS FIRST CONCERT EVER. 🤣 as I am a Suga bias (ot7) and my fiancé is a Suga and hobi bias, he sat most of the time (incredible introvert and hates crowds and bad anxiety with them but he just enjoys things quietly) but his whole face just from start to finish: 👁️👄👁️
Beyond appreciative of your interest in the lyrics as well as the music. BTS music can be overwhelming and need several listening to unpack the poetry, double entendres and this is even before the MV’s. I don’t love all of their songs but they are prolific as artists and put music out nonstop. It takes courage to release mixtapes for free sharing work in process. It’s beyond healthy that they are continually encouraged to express themselves by their company which is a rarity in SK or anywhere else
Amygdala is a sleeper hit for me. It has a beautiful dark haunting melody, which parts of the melody are somewhat familiar, like some synth-rock/pop songs I may have heard in the 1980's.
Wow been waiting for u to check this D-Day album & boom it's here, thank u so much for always supporting the boys & always showing ur love for Suga aka Agust D for his talent, vulnerability & relating to him... Thank u
i love your reactions to BTS because you truly understand what makes them stand out. you perfectly encapsulate how much their lyrics truly get to you and just how expansive the references in their songs are as well as their amazing production skills and the importance of the bond the 7 of them share. thank you for being one of the best reactors out there and i will definitely consider signing up to your patreon!
I got into BTS a little late sadly, but it was through D-2 and Yoongi. He will be my forever love and I will always be thankful for his honesty and vulnerability. And ofc, for helping me meet and love the other 6 beautiful souls 💜💜
As always, I loved your reaction. I agree with everything you said about Yoongi. I really feel like he was able to outdone himself with this album. For me this, album is perfection and is the best album of the year till now. Also, Snooze and Life gos on are my new confort songs. Yoongi is a genius artist and I think of him as one of the best lyricist in the world, his music is amazing and his lyrics are so relatable. He just always blows my mind away.
Michael, I just loved your reaction; thanks so much. Plus, love your shirt! And finally, please do share films of the concert with us when you get back. ❤
The MV for Amygdala just dropped. It’s very heavy so I won’t ask you to react, but if you’re up to it, it’s so raw and so real and I’m just amazed that Yoongi is willing to open so much of himself to us.
i thought you would adore the lyrics of this album. thank you michael for the video. have fun at the concert!! so jealous i hope he comes to the UK too!
thank you so much for doing this amazing reaction on this incredible album when all other reactioners are only doing one song at a time and directing their followers to their patron sites for money. I also appreciate your geniune and honest approach rather then saying things to keep ppl hyped!
26:08 HE HAD A CAR ACCIDENT, AND BROKE HIS SHOULDER. HE DIDN'T TELL IT TO ANYONE AND KEEP IT TO HIMSELF BECAUSE HE'S AFRAID THAT BIGHIT WOULD STOP HIM FROM BEING BTS, AND LATER TELL THEM AND HE JUST GOT SURGERY THIS BIG YEAR OF 2020. HE SUFFERED SO MUCH, AND IT'S THE SAME FROM HIS FIRST MIXTAPE "THE LAST"
The Snooze is also for fellow artists, especially younger ones in the industry. BTS did not have many people to relay on when they started, and Yoongi seems to want to be the mentor for those who might need it.
This song is an OVERKILL of the senses. I had to watch it 4 times to get the lyrics/beat, enjoy the Aesthetic of the music video and simply take in the handsomeness that is AgustD, Suga and Yoongi 💜
People pt 2 was a pre release single but the title track is haegeum and he will also going to release an MV for amygdala D-day is an awesome album Like always BTS members make great music
yoongi basically kills off a version of himself every music video because every single version ultimately gets poisoned with greed (he has talked about "the monster called greed" that's a leash the previous two albums as well...), so when that greed grows too much, a new version of yoongi kills the greedy one, sort of like his version of keeping himself down to earth, perhaps. that's how some of us interpreted him killing his other selves in daechwita and here, in haegeum.
Im in UK and so jealous right now hahahahaah Have a great time at the concert and show Yoongi all the love you can for us who are unable to go! This is a really good album. The genius of being able to communicate effectively using words, instrument and personal gnosis. I love the tone of this album. 💜
I was literally waiting on you, omg lol... I just know you're gonna love this. As usual Yoongi gave us something to think about and think about really hard too. My favourite is probably Snooze because its so lovely, but this whole thing I love so much! Edit: Yellow Journalism basically translates to sensationalism/ fake news. Alot said with no facts or evidence for money or the clicks ( usually at the expense of someone else's well being )
If you hear a pretty vocal in the background, sometimes Adora, one of their producers/she's now an idol, will add her vocals. The Life Goes On song is Yoongi's version that he submitted when they were writing the album BE. It wasn't the one that was decided on, but he still used his rap section for it. I'm really glad that he used it for his album. We get his version and it's beautiful.
Yoongi is so talented and creative! I love this album all the way around. I 💜 you but did you have to keep rubbing it in my face you are going to his concert and going to witness the genius in person. I was lucky enough to get to go to BTS concert last April. It was the most magical experience I have ever had. I really thought I was going to get tickets to Suga/Agust D but it just didn’t work out, so sing, scream and cheer for me. Happy for you 😊
So the female voice from SDL is Adora, who was an in-house producer of Big Hit, and recently lunched her solo singer career I cried A LOT listening to Amygdala, the first time I only listened to the album, and even not knowing what he was saying, I cried, and then when I listened reading the lyrics I just broke down And Snooze: it is a song that yoongi made thinking about younger singers that he wanted to comfort and tell them that he knows it's hard, and they should cry and and rest and laugh. He wants to be their comfort and support them, and you can see this also in Suschwita episode with two members from TXT, which is the second group that debuted at Big HIT
The haegeum mv connects to his old daechwita mv and story! It's the continuation, and we're gonna get a mv for amigdala too that will show us how agustd got that scar.
The female voice probably is Adora. He loves to work with her... easy to understand, isn't it? Her voice is lovely! You know? All his lines are so relatable to al the sh@t we are living today... Living in a society is making politics. Any movement we do in society is politics. The day all the people understand that, life will be better.
I'm watching this rn and I see you are enjoying HAEGEUM a LOT !!! LET ME GIVE YOU THIS INFO HAEGEUM was Produced by AGUST D, Written By AGUST D and composed by AGUST D !!! Like in the Spotify credits you can only see his name. Basically IT IS LITERALLY HIS OWN SONG, HIS OWN ART If that doesn't tell you how musical genius he is .... I don't know what will
I know im 4 months late to this, but you mentioned not knowing what yellow journalism is, it's a term i know from history classes. Yellow journalism is essentially the concept of newspapers writing sensationalized or exaggerated stories which may or may not have any basis in truth in order to sell papers and influence the public. The most common example of this cited in US history is the explosion of the USS Maine, which exploded accidentally, and which newspapers/politicians who wanted the US to get involved in conflict between Spain and Cuba, accused Spain of doing intentionally. This is one of the first major examples of yellow journalism in the US, and it's a pretty archaic term nowadays, something that is usually mentioned as a historical fact about past corruption. The fact that he uses this term specifically is really interesting to me, given the context of the song. The implication is that nothing has changed, and we are, as a society, just as corrupt as we have always been, we just hide it better.
I’m brand new to your channel and saw that you were trying to get into hip hop, a great album to do would be the forever story by JID. The story is amazing as well as everything about it.
I love that the music video perfectly mirrors Daechwita. But a modern version. The corrupt King who kills people (now a corrupt police man) with the scar who represents capitalism and corruption of power. Then Agust D is his true rebellious self looking to free people from the tyranny of the corrupt powers. And the people support him doing so (as seen by the fact the "underlings" support him in his assassination of the King). The opening scene is also a modern version of the opening scene from Daechwita, where Suga appears with his companions as they walk through a busy market street. Then you have the scene where he has his hands tied around the bonfire, which is what happened in Daechwita as well. Then the assassination by gun. The "killing" of the old by the new. And then the freedom of hanging out of a speeding car and breathing. Like in the Daechwita video as well.... as well as referencing the Joker who was notorious for being rebellious and against the Establishment. There's a scene in the Dark Knight movie where Heath ledger drives while hanging his top half out of the car and breathes/smiles. After having caused absolute chaos. It's all amazing. Suga has so many layers to his creativity... it's amazing. And the scene where he is being "drowned" by his character in what was a bathtub of money but transformed into water... such a beautiful representation of Powers, Money, Corruption, Big Media and Old Ideals being used to overburden, silence and drown those without such power. It's such a beautiful image for what we all experience in real-life.
And he said the Daechwita version was him killing his old self. And now his old self, is a corrupt power. (Seen by the scar he had in Daechwita as well) And now his newer version is killing his older new version. It's SOOOO good.
using the chopsticks as the weapon and then in the end as the utensil to feed himself is metaphor for criticizing capitalism but still having to participate in capitalism to survive. mhhh the nuance. he's so hot for that. Karl Marx would have loved him and streamed his album.
Omg, yes
This is the one
Can I copy your comment please. I promise I'll give you all the credits.🤭
Oh my yes, yes, yes.
Omg cool

adora my love, i miss her in the tracks :,)
Thanks for this list. I couldn't recall all of the BTS songs she was involved in.
Snooze is such a beautiful song. Yoongi and Woosung's parts go together so beautifully.
the fact that he wrote and produced haegeum by himself it's so impressive like no one is doing like him.
Woosung’s voice with Yoongi’s rap is heaven 💜
oh god i was waiting for this. This does really hit hard with Moonbin.

the cause of death hasn’t been revealed by moonbin’s family’s choice.
oh i was waiting for your reaction. yoongi's lyricism is just always marvelous, i love the conversations he starts with each release.
Yoongi wrote Snooze mostly to other idols, especially young ones, as message of hope and support because he knows what that path is like :)
Min Yoongi is the proverbial scarred Phoenix that rose from the ashes of his trauma and life experiences to evolve into the human being that he has always wanted to be and how he is trying his damn best to live humane in this crazy world.
the way my jaw dropped when he opened the album with dday THATS HOW YOU START AN ALBUM
YOU’RE SEEING HIM LIVEEEE??? omggg cries in european 😭😭 have fun!! Will you be recording some footage of that?👀
8:59 PRODUCED, WRITTEN, AND PERFORMED BY AGUST D. ONLY HIM. THAT'S KING
The best way to bring down an institution is from within...
Borahae
im so proud of him, and forever thankful for him
Watching this again and lord he's so hot for this I'm going insane
yeeey i'm early. this album is a masterpiece. i've been listening it since it came out and my favorite is polar night 🔥 it inspired me to write new lyrics and i was in a writer's block for such a long time it's amazing. also i've watched the road to d-day docu on disney+ and snooze performance made me cry. yoongi really gets me. he's my inspiration.
and this is why yoongi is my bias, loved the reaction
The amygdala is the part of your brain responsible for the fight or flight response. In his song, yoongi is asking for it to act already and save him since he’s too numb to make a decisive move. It’s such great lyricism, amygdala is my absolute favorite :)
Michael is back at it again😭👏 my favorite reaction among any other reactions out there when it comes to BTS' albums whether as a group or solo. the thing i like about your reaction, Michael, is the fact that you can make me cry harder after i cried enough by the lyrics themselves. reading the lyrics while listening to the songs for the first time already made me bawl my eyes out, then watching your album reaction afterwards just make me cry even harder for the various reasons. you make me notice the things that i missed, you make me appreciate the album even deeper to a whole another level, you help to emphasize some lines that i might not quite understand at first. that's the thing, when i already love an album so much then someone can make me love the album even more, i like that.
and i'm on the same page as you about Yoongi being the most relatable member because of personal reasons. that's why i always listen to his whole discography when life gets too hard because his words-i feel like-are the only thing that understands me
💜
Min Yoongi is an angel. I hope he always have honest supportive people around him, fun, passion and only bits of passing pain
this album hit me so hard emotionally, i cant even explain how comforting it is to hear all these types of messages and words from yoongi T__T things have been so hard for me lately personally, but hearing snooze and d-day are SUCH a safehold. what he does with his art by being so vunerable and honest is just something special. As always thank you for the reaction !! I'm so glad you enjoyed the album
This album is really a masterpiece
Ah, look a reactor that’s not just giving us lip service or annoying facial and over-the-top reactions. I appreciate your calm and thoughtful comments and feedbacks on the album/songs. 😊
Do you have other reactors you can recommend? I’m also not sure of too many authentic reactors because of the bandwagoners.
@@zetnnik thanks so much. I’ll be sure to check them out! Much appreciated.
you should watch his past bts reactions i think they're really good, from the start it seems he went in with no prejudices and has analyzed the songs and lyrics really well
@@jcin9129 Tribe Loui.
Welcome to the world of beveraggi. I don’t regret my patreon sub ngl
I just broke down.. snooze hit so hard.. i will be ok yoongi! Hope you too! Thank you for this amazing album!
Amygdala is a sleeper hit for me. It has a beautiful dark haunting melody, which parts of the melody are somewhat familiar, like some synth-rock/pop songs I may have heard in the 1980's.
Can’t wait for the MV for AMYGDALA to drop, interested to see how it ties in with the video storyline so far.
Wow been waiting for u to check this D-Day album & boom it's here, thank u so much for always supporting the boys & always showing ur love for Suga aka Agust D for his talent, vulnerability & relating to him... Thank u
I'll be at the UBS Arena concert on Thursday night with my son! Can't wait!
The reverb on his voice in haegum is so GOOOOODDD and the bass and thr haegeum int he back is so
Omg i love this man
Agust D is a genius, lot of love to him, this album its a hug to everyone in difficults moments, give a los of love to D-day please 😢❤.
That "suga's rooting for you" got me man. I just came from your Mono album review and I'm emotionally vulnerable
i love your reactions to BTS because you truly understand what makes them stand out. you perfectly encapsulate how much their lyrics truly get to you and just how expansive the references in their songs are as well as their amazing production skills and the importance of the bond the 7 of them share. thank you for being one of the best reactors out there and i will definitely consider signing up to your patreon!
I love how you voice your thoughts. Watching your reactions is always such a pleasure
I hope you get to watch the documentary "Suga:road to Dday" before the concert.
i thought you would adore the lyrics of this album. thank you michael for the video. have fun at the concert!! so jealous i hope he comes to the UK too!
Hope you know Haegeum was all made by yoongi himself, the lyrics and production, no co-writters or other producers. SOTY
thank you so much for doing this amazing reaction on this incredible album when all other reactioners are only doing one song at a time and directing their followers to their patron sites for money.
Love how you quickly catch onto the meanings. It makes your reviews so enjoyable!
People pt 2 was a pre release single but the title track is haegeum and he will also going to release an MV for amygdala
D-day is an awesome album
Like always BTS members make great music
yoongi basically kills off a version of himself every music video because every single version ultimately gets poisoned with greed (he has talked about "the monster called greed" that's a leash the previous two albums as well...), so when that greed grows too much, a new version of yoongi kills the greedy one, sort of like his version of keeping himself down to earth, perhaps. that's how some of us interpreted him killing his other selves in daechwita and here, in haegeum.
Really late but I so love how you break down an album. Thank you.
And about Haegum, that was ALL Min Yoongi... he wrote and produced it by himself.
Alot said with no facts or evidence for money or the clicks ( usually at the expense of someone else's well being )
❤❤❤ i love when you react to the members. thank you
suga’s definitely the most relatable member in my opinion
If you hear a pretty vocal in the background, sometimes Adora, one of their producers/she's now an idol, will add her vocals. The Life Goes On song is Yoongi's version that he submitted when they were writing the album BE. It wasn't the one that was decided on, but he still used his rap section for it. I'm really glad that he used it for his album. We get his version and it's beautiful.
You should listen to some of woosung or the roses songs. Woosung has such a beautiful voice
Happy for you 😊
So the female voice from SDL is Adora, who was an in-house producer of Big Hit, and recently lunched her solo singer career
I cried A LOT listening to Amygdala, the first time I only listened to the album, and even not knowing what he was saying, I cried, and then when I listened reading the lyrics I just broke down
And Snooze: it is a song that yoongi made thinking about younger singers that he wanted to comfort and tell them that he knows it's hard, and they should cry and and rest and laugh. He wants to be their comfort and support them, and you can see this also in Suschwita episode with two members from TXT, which is the second group that debuted at Big HIT
Enjoy the concert!!! 💜💜💜
omgg enjoy the concert so much!! i'm sure the whole tour will be amazing and mind-blowing 🎉
The haegeum mv connects to his old daechwita mv and story! It's the continuation, and we're gonna get a mv for amigdala too that will show us how agustd got that scar.
Michael hope you get to watch the “AMYGDALA” MV. 🙏🏻
i just fucking love him so much
This album is a masterpiece 💜
The female voice probably is Adora. He loves to work with her... easy to understand, isn't it? Her voice is lovely!
You know? All his lines are so relatable to al the sh@t we are living today... Living in a society is making politics. Any movement we do in society is politics. The day all the people understand that, life will be better.
it is her ! she posted about it on her insta story
Love this breakdown! I'm going on the 26th and 27th (alone) and I'm so excited! Have the best time!
Lucky!!! I hope you have a great time at the agust d concert 💕
I'm watching this rn and I see you are enjoying HAEGEUM a LOT !!!
LET ME GIVE YOU THIS INFO
HAEGEUM was Produced by AGUST D, Written By AGUST D and composed by AGUST D !!!
Like in the Spotify credits you can only see his name. Basically IT IS LITERALLY HIS OWN SONG, HIS OWN ART
If that doesn't tell you how musical genius he is .... I don't know what will
Hey your intro is so cute🥹 Also your reactions and voice r really soothing idk i like ur channel a lot :) thas it
I love your reactions. Always a pleasure to listen to your commentary! OH and enjoy your concert!
Thanks. Loved your review. Enjoy listening going forward and enjoy the concert!
So excited for the concert 😆
As alway, a wonderful full album review. I always learn a little more about each song because of your insights. Thanks!
can't wait for the haegeum mv analysis videos to drop because there's so much to uncover
Thank you for the thoughtful review. Was nice hanging out over great music. 💜🇨🇦
As always great reaction ! Thank you for taking your time with the lyrics and really try to understand 🙌🏼
Good, always looking for your album reaction
I’m brand new to your channel and saw that you were trying to get into hip hop, a great album to do would be the forever story by JID. The story is amazing as well as everything about it.
I love your reactions so much. Thank you for another great analysis.
Love your commentary reactions to their albums 🤭
Life goes on felt so refreshing at the end like what a perfect closer
You wouldn't believe how much tears I shed everytime I hear Life goes On
I love that the music video perfectly mirrors Daechwita.
Its brother on brother (twins) over power and greed.. and yes, he plays both boys
Staff.
I was waiting for your video 💜💜
