I have loved watching all of your videos... but these videos with Watson are OUTSTANDING!!! Our little guy is almost 7 years old, and the number one thing that I am glad I invested time in was training him. It is obvious that you have done your homework on raising a puppy. You are training Watson better than most folks do with their children! It is sad that people have not yet realized that. Children like pets are not born knowing how to behave, how to treat others nor how to care for their bodies, things, the home, vehicles nor furniture. It is as you say here Tan " He will learn how to be a comfort, a companion to you and the family", by your having rules, boundaries and having invested in him! It always saddens me when after some disaster the parents says "he knew better" defensively! Actually unless you have taught them personally and reinterated it many times they simply didn't know! Dogs are people too, with fur and they think! Congrats Beautiful Lady! 🌷🌷🌷

Yay fur momma!! I have a station set up for my two fur babies as well. You are right to train food manners from the start, even if you get them when they are older from the shelter, like I did, food manners are a must lol. My dogs sit like statues, they barely breath while waiting lol 😂😂😂

What a sweet boy! Please, no rawhide! It is very difficult for them to digest. DreamBone makes non rawhide chews. My dogs love them.

We got a dachshund puppy right around the time you got Watson. We've training from day 1 as well. Most people don't realize that if you put in the effort from day 1 and stay consistent it pays off in the long run. I absolutely LOVED this video. I've been considering the Kong feeder, now I'm for sure getting it. Also, I've been making my own treats but never thought about baby food or simply dehydrating bananas. Great idea!

Oh my goodness, you are doing a worms dog with his training.... We have a 1 year old doggy and the number one thing I hate most is her barking at people and jumping out of excitement. Great job again!

I have never seen a puppy that well behaved. Excellent job. Be careful with the denta sticks, my dogs got sick from them. Do some research on them, a lot of dogs have had issues with them. Watson is just so cute!
My vet said the greenies are horrible treats for dental. He recommended just brushing their teeth and for treats carrots or dehydrated veggies or meats😁

Your puppy is so cute and very well trained at his age! I just thought I’d say rawhide is super bad for dogs, it can break into fragments which can cause serious amounts of damage to a dogs inside because raw hide doesn’t digest properly. If you watch any videos on UA-cam about how rawhide is made and the detrimental affects it can have on a dogs digestive system and how the body can’t actually digest it properly then I would really recommend it because I used to feed my dog rawhide until I knew the damage it could do which my vet told me so! I would completely eliminate those from Watson’s diet! He is gorgeous though and you’re a great dog mum xx

Hi Kim! Thanks so much and congrats on your new pet, as well!!! For flea and tick treatment, Watson goes to the vet every three weeks and receives a chew. I can't recall the name of it right now...I'll mention it in the next video. He receives the medicated chews every three to four months because our vet says the collars don't offer enough protection. He loves the chews, they look like a small cube of meat. He gobbles it right up lol!! Thanks for stopping in and I'll see you in the next one! xo Tan ALMOST FORGOT... if you're having issues with fleas, try applying Dawn dish soap (yes DISH SOAP) to damp coat. Lather on without adding too much water and allow to sit for thirty minutes before rinsing.
