First spotting trip of 2017! A last minute trip planned here, due to the weather in the week being a bit too wet and windy, we decided the best day would be a Sunday. Not often do we go spotting on Sundays, but it was a nice and enjoyable afternoon. Little wind, no rain, just sun and clouds.
This was filmed on a fairly mild Winter's afternoon between about 13:30-16:00, just as it started to get dark, so yes only a short video today as I didn't want to film too much. We sadly got here shortly after a Thomson 787 came in, so sadly missed that. But caught some fairly decent movements in 2 and a half hours
Video includes: Monarch Airlines A320 and A321, Wizz Air A320's and A321's, Ryanair 737's, Easyjet A319's and A320's (Inc. 2 special liveries), Luton's newest operator Fly Kiss, operating Embraer 145's, and the private jets including a A318CJ Elite, Gulfstream IV, Global 5000, Cessna 560XL, a Dassault Falcon 7x and most interesting an Embraer Legacy G-SUGR - Used by Sir Alan Sugar himself (The Apprentice)
*Do note that in order to film at Luton you have to stand on a 6 foot step ladder on unstable ground, so the only way to film is free hand. Apologies for the shaky footage in places
