Guiding Principles of the MHA 1983

This session is led by Barbara Swann. Barbara is currently employed as an AMHP with Northumberland County Council and as an Associate Lecturer at Northumbria University. She has previously been seconded to deliver the AMHP Programme at Northumbria University.  Barbara has been a social worker for nearly 25 years and an ASW since 2005. She has worked in Merseyside, and the North East of England as well as in New Zealand, mostly in mental health settings. Her particular interest lies in developing ways of incorporating research, education and learning into everyday AMHP practice.
