This is a great to example of how to not avoid AI in our daily workflow but embrace it! And moreover, to control it at our convenience. Thanks once again Ciro! Absolutely cool tip. 🚀
wow, very useful script, can't wait to use it. Thank you very much indeed! I didn't know you could use GPT chat for these things as well. You are great!!!
any idea to convert all individual object to individual groups with maxscript? example i am selected 10 object, the with 1 button, it convert to 10 individual button, anyone can help? try with cgpt but no luck :D
thank I try many times myself doesn't work I want chatgpt to write a script show selecting camera view to one of the viewport but it just doesn't work no matter how many times I tell it to give me another version or tell it the error message is......
@@Cirosan that's far I find ChatGPT 3.5 keep giving me the wrong code even I point it out they still can't fix it and I'm in the error loop forever thanks I will see if I can get 4.0 in use
I have a alterative way to do that, set a short cut key from "select viewport node" to select the camera, and set "select view port node target" to select the target.
@@Dawai108 to be precise: you type C to change the view, then you have to click on "Camera Name" > "Select Camera"... then click again on "modify" if necessary. It's 3 clicks every time, many times per day. am I correct?
@@LearnCoronaRenderer for some reason C doesn't bring up the modifier options, it only switches the viewport to camera. If you need to modify you can just click the camera in your viewport and the modify options appear in your menu. Isn't that the easier option? To just click the camera?

Grazie Ale!!! Ma che nome utente hai? 😅😅

These little tricks, as you call them, drive me crazy. Great Ciro!
Grazie Martin!!!!
Mammamia Maestro!! You surprise me every time, this lesson is very useful!! Really smart way to use ChatGPT!! 🤩
Yessss I would like to exploit it for more scripts :))

Thank you Esteban! Think if you have a little knowledge of MaxScript... and use ChatGPT to complete a script you have in mind 🤯
Fantàstic work Ciro
I hope you liked it! You should try it to improve something in your workflow 💪
and what happen if we have more than one camera? which one it will select?
It doesn't matter how many cameras you have: it only selects the currently active camera in that viewport 🙂

Yeah! 😇 I will keep testing it for more ideas hehe

Grazie Nicola :)
Wow 🤩 really helpful
how many years of life have we lost in these 3 clicks? 😅😅
love it
so great
You can also copy the error from the script listener max to ChatGPT and it can fix it
Good point! Actually, there are endless ways you can take to get a result
How add ur script to max i add in many way does not show ?
It doesn't work, I press the button and still get the same message: "No camera in the current viewport."
It is not selecting the camera

In my case, only ChatGPT 4 worked (I also tried the free version 3.5, and it didn't work...)

Making different tests I think I have found 3-4 other ways to execute the same exact task. This is one of them

nice but why can't you just use the keyboard shortcut to select the camera?

You can just open listener window, then go perspective-select camera and drag script code to the toolbar and rename it.
yes, but it is not the purpose of my video, in addition this solution wouldn't help me creating the error message.
