What a beautifully powerful little sequencer... Kodek this demos is amazing... I will get one just based on this... for I can trigger each step from gates coming from my Lyricon analog wind controller (as my Wind CV crosses a threshold that fires' a gate)->Seq Clock Input->FIlter's CutOff [as you did at the end]... .. Much more control thank a completely random S&H based one... this is brilliant!!! Love it!!! Thanks!! blessings!!

How i hate when tutorials start with everything patched, the learning curve starts when you patch first and then you understand better how It works
I think in this case is justified, this module just has clock cv and gate, pretty straight forward

Is there any plan to have a probability setting added for each step?
a few points about this (1) no firmware downloads available (2) saved presets do not save the state
of the octave span.,,,it goes back to 8 when you switch off and on and load your preset (3) as said by
others on modwiggler who did not get a resolution I do not seem to be able to get step mute
to work as per the instructions although I need to double check that (4) on mine
the oreset slots do not show up as 1 to 8 and then 1 to 8 dot as said in the manual. Instead the show
as 0-9 and then a series of letters. This is not confirmed in this video as the demonstration does not
save or load from a preset past 8. I do not know what firmware is on mine and since I can not find
any new firmware I can not upload a newer one of ineeded.

For me the octave range saves correctly on the saved patterns. When I turn it on/off of course it goes back to 8 octaves. For the step mute, i think in this sequencer it's actually a gate mute, so if you don't have an envelope or use a long envelope you can hear the step playing. You can't skip steps like you would on a Korg sq1 for example, you can just change the length of the pattern and the length of the gates( so at 0 the gate is muted). I personally find this sequencer amazing and can't think of any sequencer that has this features in this footprint. I use a Hermod and i set it up so the randomizer kinda functions as the random button on the pico sequencer, which is a function that i use a lot and works really well with the scales

since there is no reset on PICO, if I was to clock PICO with a clock generator that had a reset input, would PICO then reset?
no, it will only reset the clock generator

So, the VCO goes to VCF, the VCF goes to VCA and the VCA goes into CLK IN on the SEQ?
is it possible to split the cvs so u can have both modulation on pitch and cutoff for example?
I'm assuming it's not possible to live record a sequence from a keyboard, is that right? will any eurorack sequencer do this?

How can I set octave range i rnd mode? When I hold rnd button and turn set knob a have only 3 values witch are not octave range: 0, 1, 4

No muting, but you can program in a step with no gate.

No, it needs analogue clock to advance to next step.
