Always fun to watch you play with brushes Tor! Apparently bobo is bringing out that koyudo kakishibu blush brush with a different handle - I wanted it already, but seeing you use yours, now I really want it! Hopefully it comes in soon :) I think it's great to use outlet brushes. It's all still fude craftsmanship and it would be a shame for any of it to be wasted when it could be used.
@@diamarieful yes! I saw some Kakishibu brushes at Koyudo when we were there during the brush festival. If you are talking about the white and red gradiated handle, I am super excited for that! It hlows my mind how these brushes are still “working” well despite some quality issues. Such craftsmanship and none should go to waste!
So interesting to see your application techniques, and I appreciate the amount of detail that you go into. The little brush that you used for applying the concealer under your eyes looks unusual, and effective! I’ve never really understood the reasoning behind the flat-topped buffer brushes (they don’t match/adapt to the contours of a person’s face), but I do see that the soft version works well as a gentle buffer. All in all, it looks like you made some very good buying decisions. 🤩🙂
aw thanks. I try to purchase brushes that would be a nice fit "in between" the current brushes that I have. But Sometimes, some brushes just call out my name! hahah The flat top brush that I got was quite wonderful, as you said, it's great for gentle buffing, if not I would have used it in a stamping motion to increase coverage. That small brush I used is actually quite effective. But it needs to use a higher grade of goat hair in my opinion. some brush purchases at the outlets can be quite surprising. 😀
Its beautiful collection of big fluffy brush and i enjoy watching your demo
