I don't think there's a home owners insurance policy out there that will cover this accident.

The guy that got hurt is a drug dealer and ruined many peoples lives i know. I feel bad for the others, not for him.

Twenty million Americans used all sorts of explosives on the Fourth. The number of injuries was negligible… just more fearmongering.

Fireworks are as American as Apple Pie. The Karen's out there will always complain when it comes to the 4th of July and fireworks.

Not only that but there's A LOT of alcohol involved on 4th of July. Drunks + explosives always equals a good time! Right? smfh.....

If it's illegal, and they do this every year, why not a consequence?

The home owner should and will be sued ...leave the fireworks to the professionals...home owner should also be charged with handling illegal fireworks among other things

You can't be charged with lighting illegal fireworks. States only issue fines for that because it's not as big a deal as the Karen's like to make it out to be.

This injury is physical, but does anyone think how many people damage their hearing and mental health due to unexpected fireworks?

Does anyone think how many firework shows go on every year without any injuries at all? The number is astronomical!

Selfish. Do people just not CARE if something goes wrong? If someone gets killed, maimed or loses their home in the process? I can't understand this thinking!

Thanks Nick Giarizzo. Were you praising the guy who broke the law and wound up causing injuries to others?

That’s probably because they were looking for Karen’s. It was accident sure it was illegal but people enjoyed the show that they didn’t have to pay for anything just bring your law chair and cold drinks with your friends and family and neighbors. It’s unfortunate that people got hurt and property was damaged but it was all in fun not intentionally wanting to hurt anyone. The guy putting on a show for everyone I’m sure feels bad emotionally and embarrassed. Everyone is now turning on him. I hope he just gets fined and able to move on from this. Remember even in professional shows people still get hurt. I hope no one sues him. Hopefully insurance will cover most all of it.
