Tanki Online has it's fair share of problems with the bad updates and stuff but those are still more or less tolerable for people who haven't left. However THESE problems are much more serious and should be highlighted as much as possible. Raise awareness and take action. USE THE HASHTAGS!

Tanki's shop is exploitative too. They abuse a known scummy sales tactic, where it was statistically proven that most people are more influenced into buying a product if it's displayed as "On Sale" or " Limited Time offer."
The "Limited time sales" offers like -90% or -60% off were NEVER on sale in the first place. These offers are either taken completely out of the shop forever, or they bring the exact same price and items back under a different name and banner color. There is no sale if items are never OFF SALE in the first place.
If you understand what I mean, you can see how Tanki manipulates their players with their shop prices. They know what they're doing and they see our complaints. There's no use trying to convince Tanki because there's always going to be players willing to buy and get scammed regardless.
Exactly, these things are often overlooked. Good to know there's people out there that understand such tactics. Also, I kinda understand that it's not ideal to expect Tanki to cooperate, but it's far from a futile attempt.
I invested 0 cents to the game and here I am, I have 4 mk8,4.3k tankoins ( won twice on Tanki fund ) , fully upgrade defender drone , and many OP augments Including new Vulcan caliber , and firebird critical, and more than 10 skins.
And for the age part, you agree that you should be 13 atleast. And for the containers , you earn both ways. Take cs for an example
As a player since 2015-16 i have a lot of good stuff on my accounts from either tanki funds, containers (luck basically) and grinding. Only way i got all the stuff are from tanki funds mostly i get the free stuff from tokens of apologies and im f2p. Coinboxes were actual gambling compared to those (both are really bad ofc) but i remember buying them and only getting 1 tankoin and 100 at most from like 30 of them so it was really bad then, you should've mentioned them too
I didn't mention them since they're no longer a problem, but it's good that they were removed

first of all (i am not defending the game by any means , they did some shady stuff recently that i 100% don't agree about)
second of all (i am not disagreeing with the stuff you mentions at all , i know that gambling is bad and and it should by illegal (especially for younger people ) )
but i have to to give you some information that you might miss , (this will be a long comment btw)
1/ gambling should be 100% illegal in games which aim against younger audients , but it is not a thing that tanki did by itself , lets for example look at 90% of the popular games that we have : (i did play all this games btw)
freefire :brings lucky wheels in events to earn skins (that sometimes will make you stronger , so its not just about cosmetics) which as another form of containers or (gambling)
rocket league : have containers with the same mechanics that tanki have . (here you can only get cosmetics so i guess that's better i guess)
fifa : this is a very good example because it depends on luck 90% with (opening packs) to get like good players which will effect your gameplay a lot .
and i will bet here that 99% of mobile games uses some kind of gambling methods in their games (containers - opening packs - lucky wheels and the list goes on and on)
i actually learned a lot about games making (as a hobby) when i was like 15 , and i was shocked when i find out that 1 of the key elements to (make a good game and gain a lot of money out of it) is by importing stuff that will seen like completely random for the player , but in reality you will control every chance the player will get (making the good stuff very hard to obtain (example exotics in tanki online have >1 percent of getting them)) you actually can go on youtube and search for (why gambling methods are essential in making video games) .
now i am grateful (surprisingly) for tanki for not making every single reward in the game in the form of containers (like yeah 80% of rewards come from containers ) but i myself didn't earn something very useful from containers at all (except from some useless paints and shot colors and rarely a good augment ) all of my good augments actually came from mini games in events (all pulsars (mini games and tanki funds) - helios and vacuum shells for thunder (it was added in a mini game once (pages.tankionline.com/loss-of-control?lang=en here if you are interested - spear for scorpion (minigame) - shaft healing emitters from elite pass - vacuum for striker (in a minigame) and a lot more that am not going to write them all here ) )
now this is my opinion (that am 100% sure its not wrong) but if i actually missed something you can write it for me ☺

Like u said, it's true that the idea of randomising rewards is common in most games, and it's something that allows them to become popular - we have examples like pubg, freefire, etc. However, the reason I point out Tanki Online here is:
1. In Tanki, the containers are VERY impactful to the actual game. Supplies, currencies, augments, shot effects, skins, and even modules, can all be attained from them. The difference between MOST popular games using this tactic and Tanki is that most games have the randomizer impact the game to a certain, LIMITED extent, that doesn't affect the game balance too much. Take free fire for example. There's an advantage to the winners, Yes, but not to the extent where no one else stands a chance. But in Tanki, You're being convinced to gamble to the extent where u know that if u win the bet, You're gonna be unstoppable. In that case, You're WAY more tempted to spend more cash in taking chances. Thus, its more provocative, and taking in consideration that most users are Young, the problem just gets worse.
2. The usual content on this channel is about Tanki so like-
All in all, I understand ur pov about this and agree to some extent, although I'd like u to put some thought in what I said as well.

@@SHK17THUNDER well , if you agree that a lot of games involve (gambling like tanki do ) then saying that tanki is doing something illegal is not the best word to description it , it should be (pay to win) game elements
another thing is that i do agree that containers are bad , but there are not game changing or anything like that , because 90% of the time you will just earn (crystals , paints , shot effects , supplies ) and only 10% (augments) and even when you get an augment it will not be like op one or anything .
i actually did a test on that in the test server and you can try it two (choose an op augment that you want from containers and then just open as much as it takes to get that augment)
i tried it for shaft emitters augment (the one that heal people) and it took me 2500 ultra containers to get (yeah it depends on luck but the chances of getting an op augment is pretty low )
all am saying is the main source of powerful augments isn't only through containers , its from events and mini games
@@crystal_heart1734 containers ARE game changing, but it's conditional - a person using actual money to get them in larger amounts would be more likely to get something rare (game changing) rather than person who doesn't. It's easier for a buyer to get 2500 keys as opposed to a non-buyer. I agree that events and mini-games (which require an event pass at most times) also have a lot of importance in allowing u to get such stuff, but in this case we're just focusing on the containers. With that said, the reason I've called containers "illegal" is because they're literally the reason Tanki is not available (banned) in several countries such as Netherlands and Belgium.
@@SHK17THUNDER i mean Tanki already removed coinboxes because that was literally gambling and the thing is you are guaranteed to get an exotic every 300 epic keys so its not really gambling if you are guaranteed an exotic. Am I right?

Secondly, being guaranteed an exotic item does not guarantee that You'll get the exact item that u want. Let's say, for example, that there's an event, and 3 skins are available in the exotic category - thunder, hammer, and shaft. I want the shaft. So there's two possibilities:
1. Best case scenario: I get the shaft skin within the 300 epic containers that I open. (33% chance)
2. I don't get it, but I get (for example) the hammer skin instead. In this case I'd want to risk purchasing and opening another 300 conts to bet 50/50 on whether I'd get thunder or shaft.
Essentially, despite the fact that you're guaranteed to get SOMETHING good, you ARE being exploited to play a "game of chance" - placing a bet on whether You'll need just 300 conts to get the exact thing u want or go all in and purchase about 900 of them.
