These are outstanding. My go to crimpers. My only recommendation would be to be careful if working fast in tight quarters. There were a couple times where I was working in low light, couldn’t see the crimps I just made & I cut them while crimping another set of wires. I haven’t had any issues since then. 🤠
I bought a pair , a few days ago , I kinda like them . When I need a controlled cycle crimp , I have a Knipex set . The downside being they are expensive and a bit bulky , plus they can only crimp .
Looks like a great combo tool. I have the the 1005's without the strippers or rear cutterand like them a lot. Only gripe is the insulated crimp didn't hold very well. Maybe it's because I was using the red connectors. I just started using uninsulated connectors with heat shrink with good success.
Thanks Ben, I have a set very similar to the kleins made by L&G ? 40 plus years old still in great shape, i keep a cheep set in my boat tool roll . Maybe it's time to upgrade!
Klein makes so many excellent tools. as someone that used to sell them, it really pisses me off how many jerks abuse their warranty abusing those tools. like, i get the crap Leatherman has to deal with given the nature of a "multitool" as an improvised thing...but the ways i've seen tools like Klein, Greenlee, and Lenox abused when they are purpose-built is mind-boggling. not necessarily relevant to the video at-hand, just venting really.

Wishlisted. Klien has never let me down, and this configuration is pretty darn ideal for that application.
Good to see you back making videos again buddy 👍

These are very nice if you do a lot of crimp connections.

I understand completely.
Notwithstanding longer handle leverage, does the surge have a better crimper then the rebar?
Nice!
These are like the snap-on/Carlyle stripper/cutters, except not dainty.
I hate to correct you, but these are NOT pliers per say! They are in fact: "Forged Steel Wire Crimper, Cutter, Stripper"
It’s fine, you’re right, I’m wrong. In fact, you convinced me I needed to change the title.
How about the KNIPEX Crimper (240 mm) 97 22 240 ?
Haven’t had a chance to use those yet.
