- Hey Guys,
In todays video I decided to make some tags and labels using some of my word stamps that I’ve been hauling. I cut some tags and labels using my new die cuts with my Big Shot. I’ve been wanting to try this for a while now and finally found the opportunity. I hope you try out, they are so much fun!
I’ll try to link the supplies I used below:

Hey Maggie! A tip for floppy stamps, you lay them gently on the paper or counter and bring the block to the stamp. For some reason that works better than sticking the stamp directly to the block. I have better luck this way with getting straight stamps (Just read the comment below this one and realized it was a repeat...sorry!). I also use one piece of fun foam under the paper I'm stamping on to get a better impression. Love the video!
In order to get the clear stamps straight on your blocks, set them down on your table with the stamping side down, let them rest a moment and then pick them up with the block. Hugs!
Hi! Thank you so much for the tip! That is so good. I will definitely be doing that instead. I really appreciate it and thanks for watching!
Love these tips!
Thanks for the great tip!
I have that paper from dollar tree I'll have to try it out. I just got four packages of stamps and I'm looking forward to stamping. The papers from there are so cool and different. You are so fun to watch because you're having so much fun. Its contagious
Hi Suzy! You’re always the sweetest! So great you have plenty of stamps to play with. I love the paper packs from DT, they are so different and feel handmade.
Always best to stand when stamping for added even pressure. I also use a foam pad underneath my project. Everything came out great.
Hi Suzie, thanks for the tip. Thanks for watching
I’ve never used a die cutting machine, but would like to. I would be just like you about the noises, and how it worked, so I appreciated everyone’s tips, too! You have so many cool stamp sets, supplies and tools! I’m waiting for your channel to explode. You do such accessible and neat projects! (You got so lucky with those re-stamps! I always end up slightly off. 😢)
Hey Rhonda! Thank you so much, wow that was really nice of you to say. I’m so happy with how my channel is constantly growing. I’m still amazed. Thank you for always watching Rhonda! (BTW - I definitely got lucky with the re-stamping, you know you heard it in my voice, right? LOL)
@@SunsetCrafts I think I have a couple more vids to watch - I was saving longer ones to savor! 😁
You’re the best! Thank!
MAGGIE, ye can get a small , cuttingmat a dollar tree to use when stamping, then ye will have a grid to line up the stamps, tis only bout 8 x 9 !! Love the labels !! Thanx for the idea, Carol in ga ❤
Hi Carol. I actually think I have one of those cutting mats from Dollar Tree. Thanks for the tip. I appreciate you watching
I’ve seen people use gesso to create a matte surface for painting. And I’ve also seen others mod podge white napkins onto glossy surfaces (magazine pages, postcards, stickers, etc) to get rid of the glossy. I wonder if either of those techniques would help with inking, as well. Those turned out so cool! LOVE the circle tags!!
Hi Cindy! Those are great ideas. I’ll have to play around with the Gesso. I do have it and haven’t had a chance to play with it. Thanks for watching
Clear emboss it.
Cool project. I love doing these.
Thanks for watching Carol
I'm a fairly new subbie....just discovered your channel last week! :) I'm an obsessed crafter as well....and love the journey of junk journalling, ephemera making...collage making....you name it!! lol I'm not sure if you had this suggestion made to you or not, however, I'll share this tip with you. The red rubber stamps will usually stamp beautifully without a cushion underneath...as they are already cushioned. The photopolymer, acrylic/silicone stamps don't have that advantage....so if you put a cushion under it...they will stamp so much better. The Stamps of Life (Stephanie Barnard) seems to be the creator of this item....she calls it her secret weapon! :) Thanks for all your creativity...and for sharing! xo
Hi Sharon! Thanks so much for the tip. I was just recently sent foam sheets for that same reason. I will definitely look into the Stamps of Life. I appreciate you watching
Thank you for the great ideas. I'm sure I can use my edge punches to put a nice edge on plain tags, since I don't have the die cutter set...I have a lot of punches and can't wait to try it.
So glad you liked it. Thanks so much for watching
Found this 😍😍😍😍 Thank you for sharing 🙏 lots of love from arctic Norrway 🙌🌹🌼🌺🌻🏵

All fantastic!
Thank you Jm!
Fantastic - thank you xx
Thanks for watching Sam
I had a boyfriend that had a fancy signature, but he had a big ego to match it, LOL. He acted like his signature was work of art. These tags are wonderful.
Hi Leslie! Lol that’s so funny! I’m so glad to hear that you HAD a boyfriend like that and not HAVE! LOL
Thanks so much for watching!
@@SunsetCrafts I moved from Texas to Arizona to get away from that one, LOL.
@@lesliedenton8081shoutout for Az! Lol
Nicely done!!
Hi Carla! Thank you so much for watching!
You may be able to take a small inexpensive paint brush and wipe the ink out between the letters on your stamps to keep them from leaving those matks.
Thanks for the tip! I really need to figure something out. Lol. Thanks so much for watching
Hi Maggie! Cool tags, loved how they came out, especially the round ones!...they also sell those at Dollar Tree. That was hilarious about your husband LOL..my signature is so messy and the older I get the worse it gets 🤣
Hey Diana! Thanks, I’m happy with them. I haven’t seen the round ones at DT. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for them. LOL, I crack up every time we are in front of someone and they need his signature. It’s always so complicated! LOL. Too Funny!! Thanks for watching
You need some clear gesso to turn your glossy tags to matte.
Hi Cora! I do need clear gesso, I’ll have to look for some soon. That would be a great item to keep on hand. Thanks so much for the tip
Better to get old than to get dead
You got that right! Lol
Thanks so much for watching

Sorry! Looks like it is currently unavailable. You can check Globleland’s website.
I can’t find it on Globleland’s site either. I did order the postmark set. I just have to wait a while for it.
Yeah, I’m so sorry. Looks like it might be unavailable there too. I tried looking for it too and couldn’t find it.
thank you
What are you using to clean off your stamps after using them?
Hi Carola! I use baby wipes to clean off my stamps. Seems to be working great for me. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching
LOVE THESE!! 🤎🖤
Hi Tonya! Thank you so much for watching! I’m so glad you enjoyed this project
