- A closer view of the cliffs of Crowders Mountain , a popular mountain in Gaston County, North Carolina and about 30 minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina. At 1,625 feet above sea level , you can see great views of Charlotte and other mountains around like sister peak - the pinnacle or King's Pinnacle. The mountain has many rock climbers that climb the cliffs every season of the year.

Thank u for this video. I grew just a few miles from that mountain and never got to go to the top of Crowders but I got to the the top of Kings pinnacle. This video is probably your best work yet. I can't wait to take time off to go hike up there now. Your videos are incredible!

My wife and I have hiked this mountain several times over the years. Where were you flying from for the closer shots?
Thank you Tom Hirtreiter. Actually took off from a residential street on the east side and past the golf course on the north side- but the close shots were actually several miles out from my takeoff location. The State park will not allow you to take off from their property.
Hi-Tech Hikers I’m not that daring to fly miles away. The furthest I have flown was about a mile. Nice video and it gives a different perspective of the mountain that is normally not seen.
