- Spectacular, epic and really thrilling! Welcome to the Piz Trovat via ferrata above the Bernina Pass in Graubünden, Switzerland. There are 2 routes for this summit, a K3 (Piz Trovat I) and a K6 (Piz Trovat II). I attempted the wonderful K3, which was right above the glacier with amazing views at all times. The course is exposed, remote and is a little challenging, especially the headwall after the bridge. But, it is a great designed course with lots of rock contact, well positioned stimples and a fair balance. The K6 course, which I didn't know is for experts only due to a large portion of overhang and physical test.

Enjoy!
Bravo
Thanks!
The highest in Switzerland, 10,400 ft. I will guess that the air was a little thin?
What an awesome video, you really make some great films. The editing and music are superb. Thank you. We are doing Murren and Rotsock in a few weeks, I'll let you know how the video turns out. Jim
Thank you sir! Have a great time… my advice is to do Rotstock first! :-)
How was your trip to Switzerland Jim?
Awesome, we did the Murren VF, and it was pretty easy, mostly downhill. We plan on going back for more adventures. I did get a Ferrata Bloc when we got home, however, it wasn't needed at Murren.@@adeeyp
@@aerialrescuesolutions3277 well done! Ferrata blocs are mainly for austrian / dolomite climbs!
It will be my first time doing such a climb. That being said: I am super fit, boulder 3-5 times a week. Will it be a problem for me or can I solo this?
I have some advice on my website www.viaferratadatabase.com. Hope it helps!
