The guy doesn't look that big but I doubt many people have any idea how strong you have to be to essentially military press a human being. She had great balance but even if she only weighs around 120 it's just different than hoisting a barbell. Fun to watch. Cheerleaders are athletes in their own right.
Not only are cheerleaders athletes, but cheerleading is surprisingly dangerous. Those lifts look great when they go well, but failure often results in serious injury.
It’s happened 3 times counting this game twice in last years tournament for the men Indiana cheerleading ( lost to St. Mary’s college : ua-cam.com/video/_7N0Vmr4lz4/v-deo.html) Arkansas cheerleading ( lost to Duke : ua-cam.com/video/ZXqnBXF9VPM/v-deo.html)
I laughed so hard at that! Just because it brought back memories of a “Rules of Engagement” episode where the character Adam [revealed as a male cheerleader] saves the ‘balloon’, from the high ceiling, with the help of a waitress.
Cheerleaders, plural. Amazing team. She wasn’t levitating by herself. But yes, her balance was incredible. Barely moving during his walk. He’s lift and hold also had very little extra movement.
Not that this needs to be focused on at all, really... but fact is any cheerleader could grab the ball once lifted by their teammate, Difference is tho that they have to be brave to be lifted up. That does take courage. So, when they fearlessly go up to get the ball for the players. That is clappable. 👏
Ok but...she's allowed to be happy and cherish it and even become more famous if this starts giving her more fame. Like, "taking advantage" of it doesnt have to mean being egotistical and thinking you're the best thing.
Cretinous. No shit they have dozens of spare balls. You ever think there's a rule not not leave a ball stuck whether it be between the rim and backboard or the top of the backboard? Common Sense applies. Lol
I found this amusing at first. Then I thought why not? The players think and act like they are Cheerleaders so why shouldn't Cheerleaders act like they are part of running the game?

Best rebound of the game, great assist too
That was some kind of cool! Kudos to the cheerleaders for stepping up to fix the problem!
“One shining moment”
“What a play!”
The only
God bless cheerleaders

And I just saw another like this too lol
THANK YOU VERY MUCH MY DEAR THANK YOU GOD BLESS YOU
I love that no one even asked her.
"Of course we have more than 1 basketball in an arena this size."
"Nah, I got this!"
I laughed so hard at that! Just because it brought back memories of a “Rules of Engagement” episode where the character Adam [revealed as a male cheerleader] saves the ‘balloon’, from the high ceiling, with the help of a waitress.
Loved this!
Great Assist!
What a play!
“Save the Cheerleader!” Lol
...."and save the world"
So, is there only one ball?
Cheerleaders are like "Ok, we saved it, go ahead."

so can the basketball players legally do that to block shots?
Cheerleader doing what they do
Give her a basketball scholarship
Man she can jump high! Must be the Gumbo!
Another reason why we have cheerleaders. That acrobatics is not just for show.
I thought this was great. I was going to watch the beginning of this game just to see that again.

Wow
Lsu going crazy after lol
Indiana University: "It's been done."
In a final 4? On a National stage for millions of us to see? The first time isn't always the best. Lol
That’s her moment of fame hope it doesn’t go to her head 🤣

Finally a highlight worth watching from women's basketball.
They had only one ball for a whole match?
Of course not, but the ball needed to be retrieved to make sure that it wasn't dislodged while the clock was running.
do they not have more than 1 ball for these games? 🤔🤔🤔
fun
IU did it first
This is the coolest thing any cheerleaders have ever done at a sports game in the history of man.
Do they not own 2 balls? I know i do

My name is Giovanni Giorgio but...
Why is their so many empty sets in a final four game?
Women's basketball that's why
@@ruskan7633 The empty seats are Iowa fans that had to buy tickets for both games.
She’s getting a full ride next year, by someone 🤔

If instead of cheerleaders they had Chippendale dancers. Maybe more women would watch.
