Top tip for Scotland you can basically ask any pub or most businesses if you can stay the night if you need services from a campsite pop in offer a fiver get fresh water dump the dump stuff and your good, no need to stay the night if you don’t want to use a full campsite and showers etc

Funny you should say that - LOL. We asked to have a different pitch but were told we couldn't choose 🙄 Still it made for a good bit of footage..You will love it any time of the year, but if you've got the weather on your side there aren't many places to compare.

Great shots with drone . Guess sub 250g Think I will have to change mine since all the new restrictions We also love scotland in motorhome . Couple of spots I had mot thought of so great info. Kelpies were £5 overnight which thought was great now even better,

Please note "wild camping" is a right in Scotland which doesn't include vehicles. In fact the Scottish Outdoor Access Code specifically excludes these.
Hi June - thanks for the comment. Our definition of wild camping in a motorhome could technically be described as staying with our van anywhere which doesnt have facillities such as waste disposal, running water, or electricity. A little different to wild camping in a tent but still fun if done respectfully and lawfully! 😁

Basically please refrain from using the term wild camping for your van life activity as it is misleading. Wild camping in Scotland has a legal definition which excludes vehicles. Widespread misinformation regarding this is causing huge environmental issues here in the Highlands by folk parking up anywhere they like (not you).
Thank you for using campsites & desingnated car parks but neither are wild camping as you are not in a tent. Check out Highland Council's advice for visiting motorhomes.

The new van is a real quality build and we love many of its features...there a few though that we arent getting along with but will do a video about the van in another month or two when we really know it..😁

A little more confidence when parking up in Scotland no one will move you on wild camping is a thing Are you using park for night or iOverlander for safe place to stop for example luss has about 15 lay-bys you can stay at on the way to duck bay marina

I just ask at pubs always have a pint even a soft drink if not drinking most lay-bys are good and if you see a dirt track drive up it lol not everywhere is suitable but try and get parked up before it gets dark and you should be good ,

@@littlebigvanadventures we were supposed to complete on the house sale on the 12 January but it all went south on the last day so the solicitors are working on it we hear today when we can move out hopefully next Friday then we have to go get the camper get some mods done and we’re off hopefully sometime around May fingers crossed

Noticed you mention "WILD CAMPING" seems strange that you'd pack a tent and head into the wilds to spend the night in a tent when you can just stay in the van. I'm assuming you know the definition of "wild camping." As for the Jacobean uprising, it wasn't against the english, Scots fought on both sides, more a selick v the gers.
staying in a comfy mobile home is not wild camping
Absolute pointless trip in the winter don’t know why you didn’t just wait until the spring or summer to go and you would have had a better time and wouldn’t have to complain about things being closed and it being bad weather , just my opinion
Scotland is great at anytime and these guys know that.
