That’s a beautiful color. We’re considering the same color in our pool build, but I’m extremely concerned with the brown tones of the pebble on the tanning ledge. Do you feel like it’s brown or grey/black in the shallow areas?
It doesn’t get real hot and we have temps in the 100. The builder told us that was a draw back from black bottom pools but so far we have not experienced that at all.

The shallow area are more dark which gives it that Caribbean color .
Does this make the pool retain more heat? We are considering this color for our new build but ours will be in full sun all day on the gulf coast..

The deep end is 9ft.
Looks very similar to ocean blue
Ocean blue is just a shade lighter . We originally wanted ocean blue , however due to Covid and shipping they were out of that color.
Can you see the bottom of the pool at night without leds or is it too dark?
No you can still see bottom. Also what helps is type of tile you have and coping those colors will help in clarity.
