Great informative video. Quick question. When baiting a pilchard / mullie on the bottom hook with dingle, is the dongle BEHIND the tail of the pilchard - so essentially the hook point / barb is fully exposed? Thanks in advance.
Bionic finger is a casting aid, generally found on low mount casting rods. We have received a fair few questions about it so we will be doing a episode on them very soon
Great and I found them on eBay and have two coming and looking forward to your video on it and where do you get Dingle dangles can't find them anywhere
That was not a Gemini, that was one of the new harbour clips, I have found them much stronger than Gemini and have a slightly longer tag, it was linked to a short casting dingle dangle.
@@On-PointAdventures yeah a mate was in the tackle industry I met a few of his South African surf fishing mates , and started slide baiting and using assassin rods from about 2007 , they made quite a splash when they started fishing the northern beaches
So how about a DIY of making a dingle dangle
Editing that one now mate. Won't be long

That is correct, The bottom of the dangle is always the rear most exposed part of the system,

What is a bionic finger and where do you buy it

Glad it helped.
What did you use to latch to the Gemini clip?

You have a really strange casting grip, cast like a left hand, retreive like right hand. Any reason ?
More common than you think
With the low mounts essentially your hands do the opposite job. Looks strange but boy does it work
Ahh another South African surf fishing method , easily the most innovated surf fishers in the world .
Absolutely, between Africa and England the innovation and path they set for surf fishing today is very clear.
