How ET is still standing ASTOUNDS me. It's so old that I remember the distinct smell of the ride to this day. The smell brings back memories from when I was 3 every time I walk in.
Shelby Beeimus I agree with you about that smell. But ET is literally fighting for it's life right now.
Shelby Beeimus it's such a good ride though, I agree though when I went in it didn't smell the best, wonder how long the poor things been around
they aren't allowed to close it due to some contract so its not leaving any time soon

I'm going to Universal studios Orlando with my uncle and cousin THIS will be my first time going there it will be a blast.
Those who haven't gone there it's awesome. I've been there a few times already and still haven't seen everything. it's def an all day event or come back the next day. Park is that big. There's actually 2 parks split up. one side is where this is filmed and the other park is all your rollercoaster rides.

Jeni, I plan to go this year. Every single person online said if you buy a 1-day ticket, you're robbing yourself of a decent experience. Definitely spend extra for a two day ticket even if you can only take a very short vacation. I plan to spend at least 3 days because I'll be in Harry Potter World at least once. Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade are much bigger than they look! Oh and some of the shows can be fun if you're familiar with themes like the Simpsons or short stories in the Harry Potter universe...
The camera work on this, and all DIS videos is: incredible! The entire crew could teach a workshop on camera tech. Always super impressive video work. When these workshops begin, I hope I can be in the first graduating class. Inspiring, thanks to all at the DIS!

I'm watching this to get a feel for the parks layout. Then, about 7 minutes into it, I realize that there is barely anyone in the park. I was like WTF?!?! Unfortunately, with my family going to Universal Orlando and Disney World at the end of July/beginning of August, I don't think I will be anywhere near as lucky.

I have a question. I have a family of four (three adults and one teenager), two of us like thrill rides and two of us don't. Would you recommend Disney or Universal / IOA? We have never been to either one, and we are planning a 3-5 day stay. Should we try to do all three, just Disney, or just universal and IOA? Thanks

Raenex Vlogs in my opinion, Universal is better. If you're into bigger rides, go to universal. But, Disney is still a great place to visit. A lot more families with smaller kids. Both parks are great, though!!

AnDy MaXiMuS november and february are the best times to go. over the summer it is unbearably hot and packed
Taylor Kennedy we have actually been there both of those months. We had a bad experience in February, but even the Universal Staff was shocked and said it was highly unusual (just our luck). Coming from the Northeast we don't even mind the cooler weather. You can tell who the locals are because they are visibly cold ;) I couldn't imagine the hot, sticky Summers and it is overcrowded

It's empty because it's January. I WISH that when I go it's this empty. I'll ride everything multiple times.
Now the Kid Zone shut down to make way for the Nintendo rides with the exception of ET. They could've built those on the new plot of land they purchased recently. Sad to see it go...

Divannye Voiska can't compare them directly. universal/islands of adventure put a ton of good rides in a small area. Disney is a huge place with good stuff spread out. if i had a couple of days in orlando, I'd want to do universal (islands is better). but if i had a longer time and patience, Disney has a lot to see

That's universal not Disney.
Every park is less busy during the weekdays. Literally less people are able to go @joey Mclean. That's how they operate. The person in the video probably went right when the park opened too when people in the hotels are still sleeping.

Visited in Nov. 17 A total rip off!! $175 for a one day pass and spent 6 hours queuing for 5 rides !!! Eat in Monster cafe after queuing for 30mins. for tasteless food.
