My absolute favorite song. And even with a couple screw ups, but I can't help but love Vinny's stage presence. This is his first live Red Vox performance, but I hope, for the sake of me seeing one, that this won't be the last.
I hate when people clap when someone is trying to perform. It's the most confusing thing to everyone and adds nothing. At least most of them stopped later... Anyway, I really do love this song. Ghost Page is the best.
I think this performance is why a lot of the songs on later albums are a little more slow. It's easier to play and focuses more on the instrumentals than the vocals, on top of being easy enough for vin to remember the lyrics in their correct places
The reason why claps don't work well in any live performance is because sound takes time to travel, so the farther away you are, the less in sync you are from the sound source. This is actually a problem with big orchestras unless they either train or use in ear monitors. So if you put an audience of non musicians and account for that inherent sound disconnect, it amplifies the problem by a lot with a down tempo song like this.
this mushroom sauce guy sure sounds nice
FantasmaNaranja i agree, Joekid
Cool comment you get 12 goober dollars

"three years ago" Still you're favorite by them? Just curious
It was actually the second one! The first one is lost footage. Sadly. :(
good news!
I like how vin is doing the "ooo" and then just stops like "nah fuck that"
great song, though.
I like how the girl in front just let out a "YEEESSSSSSSS" in the beginning of the video.
big mood honestly
it was a pretty casual yes
the perfect man does exist

Welp, it was the keyboard guy who started it. x3
(and he asked to stop it later, but no one did. :s)
or half of them slow down (or not with the tempo) and make it even worse
Actually there's no tambourine so the audience is filling that role.
Jyrz Well to me it really completes the performance if people are clapping because it syncs up well.
Just noticing this after so many years of coming back to these videos, Mike's drum flair is fucking fantastic, especially there at the end.
Holy f u c k I got goosebumps from listening to this
Ugh this is my favorite Red Vox song. I would probably sob like a bitch if I saw that live 😝
so fucking good. I hope they decide to perform on the island soon

That'd make sense if Red Vox still performed live but, like, this was the only time as far as I can tell. Been years since they've performed live.
@@Takimeko full year late, they did another live show prior to this but there is no footage of it
@@Retrovoider Huh. Where'd they perform?
@@Takimeko Not sure, sorry. I just know they performed somewhere one time before this
Damn props to Mike for going that fast at the end there.
he sounds tired :( let him sleep
Is it just me or the guitar melody sounds kind of like an earthbound song
winters white?
yup lol that definitely it lol, at least the first few chords
Now I wanna combine those songs
Really waiting for covid to be done with so i can go to a red vox concert in however long it will last
Still waiting, eh mate?
@@kronosecondary I'm glad they haven't done one yet cause now I'm a fan. Even tho I've been watching Vinny forever
some peeps can't clap rhythmically for shit
I wish they would just not.
@@userPrehistoricman but his own band started it
That doesn't make me enjoy it

@@robotman5105 thanks for clarification
everyone complaining about the clapping should shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fucken hate when people clap during the performance
A member of the band literally encouraged them too. It wasn't an audience member, it was Billy.
goes hard
I wish there was a tab for this. I found one but it just doesn't sound right
One sec I have it somewhere
@@LukeBeadles find it yet?
@@Mr_Meatbox lmao
@@LukeBeadles How about now?
Bruh moment I forgot about this

He went a bit Wiseau in some moments

Anyone know what guitar vins got
It looks like it's a Rickenbacker 330, but I could be wrong
Yes that is a 330. I think he has talked about it on one of his streams
Holy shit finally a video with 0 likes
