Nice, simple explanation. Im an instructor applicant and i find things like this difficult to explain. Of course i know how to cross country plan but learning how to break things down for a student pilot is sometimes harder than learning the skill in the first place!
I guess this is why the GPS is so critical now days...:)..I know very little about advanced navigation but this seems to be a good learning video.I use my compass regularly on my boat,and never thought about windage.Now you got me thinking about currents.hmm..
at 03:19 you explain how to know degrees, I have the same ruler and I dont know how to use it, because it has 90 and 180 in front not 360, explain me please!
