Lol. Everyone says that word narc these days. Narcissist make up less that 1 percent of the population in the US. Typically they are from very wealthy families or famous or raised very privileged. Cheating is not a mistake it’s a choice. You’re choosing to disrespect your partner. You’re choosing to endanger their health condoms or no condoms. You’re choosing to be a home wrecker and better hope you didn’t shack up with someone that is delusional and will hurt cheater’s partner. No one is asking for perfection. Being faithful isn’t hard. If it’s hard then don’t be in a relationship and don’t call foul if the other person cheats too.
I definitely agree, I hate when people say oh they made a mistake of cheating on their partner, but yet he or she is still continuing to cheat. Expect him or she partner to forgive him or her and to still be together. Makes no sense
There can be “A” mistake in a long marriage or during hard times in a marriage, but it’s not a mistake if it’s a lifestyle. That’s ridiculous. If my husband came home and had done something and was that guilty (and I know he would be cause it’s against everything he believes), I could forgive that because no one is perfect. When we met, I was a drug addict in active addiction. I did horrible things when I was an addict including being arrested for a robbery. Once I got clean within 2 months and f meeting my husband, we had our daughter plus my 2 year old son and now we have been together 9 years, married for 5.5 and have 3 beautiful children a beautiful house in the suburbs. My husband forgave a lot of things I did in my past and I could forgive a mistake. This man does it constantly and that’s not a mistake that’s a lifestyle.
The thing is if u make a mistake, you admit to your wrongs and feel terribly guilty. You don’t lie your ass off to try and keep your lifestyle going.

Her face said she wasn't going to tolerate his cheating, and being a former corrections officer, she was going to lay down the law, so to speak. He's a coward, a horrible person, and doesn't deserve her. I showed this to my husband and he asked how he managed to pull other women. His midlife crisis is ramping up and I hope she's away from him and living a good life.

Classic reason for why on/off again relationships aren’t good. People are a ex for a reason. Hoping someone returns to the person you fell in love with 9/10 it’s a waste of time and emotions. She asked for the barest of minimum - employment and loyalty - and he couldn’t even do that. He thinks he’s such a hot stud and likely is only attracting gold diggers who think he has more when it’s all his wife’s which he admits to. He won’t ever deserve her. I was married 28 years and never cheated, my ex wife started cheating while I was serving in the old school Army. I waited till the last child turned 18 and I filed for divorce. I grew up without a father and I wasn't going to let that happen to my children. I slept in my man cave for years instead of with it. All she had to do was be honest and we could've parted ways more amicable.

@@lauryndyer6773 It wouldn't work for most folks. I did leave and she tried to keep my kids away that were still at home and not already adults. Not happening to me or my children. She kept begging me to come back and saying sorry, but my trust was long gone. So when I went back, I stayed in my man cave at night and worked during the day. There were only two daughters at home with five grown and on their own. I made it work for my girls who were close to 18 anyway. All my kids knew their mom was a doorknob and saw how she treated me. I am a great dad and husband. The issues were hers, not mine and the family knew it because she was so blatant about it. The last two girls were from her getting pregnant by another man, the same man, who was Mexican and she's as white as I am. I'd had a vasectomy, a successful one for several years after the fifth child. I stayed for girls who the only father they know is me. It's not their fault mom was a doorknob, everyone got a turn. It made me a simp but I've no regrets, the girls call me Papa and don't even know who the real sperm donor is, they do know I'm not because of their color. They love me all the more for it. I've never told my last girl her mom offered to get her aborted. I don't believe in murdering innocent unborn children. No way was I going to be involved in that. It's also against our religion. My ex even lied to my mom and dad when they were living and told them my vasectomy failed in front of me. Then when the girls were born, her lies were brought to light. You'd have to ask them all how they feel about mom, all seven cherish Pop and I'm waiting on my 20th grandchild. I've been single going on 11 years and haven't even dated. Don't want my heart broken again.

She literally pretended everything was okay between us in front of family and our kids, but they'd come to me in private moments and hug me and apologize for their mom and tell me how much they loved me for staying for them. No one cares about a man's feelings, except our children. We're paychecks and cannon fodder for war, I've been both. She never got anything in the divorce from me, not a cent. No father to raise me or teach me anything. A step dad yeah but we weren't ever close. My real dad is a deadbeat. He abandoned us when I was 7. I went into the Army at 17. I taught myself how to be a good husband, father and provider. Four boys, three girls. I don't know how or if this helps you, but remember. You can choose to be different and break the cycle. The children matter first when a parent, me, myself and I come last. I am not and will never be most people.
