    This is what they're saying:

    And sighs, in its turn,
Moves her heart, which trembles with love!»

*Maria and Rachele* were the best for different reasons: Maria (The first lady, utilized staccato unbelievably well). Rachele (The last lady) on the other hand utilized Legato incredibly; it might appear to be easier but making sure that every note is placed in such a flowing manner is actually difficult!

      Carne Guisada
She could if she had the voice type.
However, Lady Gaga is a mezzo soprano. Her supported range ends somewhere around C6, because her highest recorded head voice note is B5.
Her voice would be too dramatic for such a light roll.
If you want to hear what Lady Gaga would potentially sound like (if she had the range) search for Diana Damrau singing this song.
Diana is a dramatic coloratura turned dramatic soprano from age.
Her voice is perfect for Queen of the Night because of how much power she has.
However, she has too much power for a roll of the Doll Song.
Then there’s Natalie Dessay who has the perfect amount of power for the Doll Song, but not enough power for Queen of the Night.

I can't believe no one is saying Karola Agay at 1:35! She has such a mastery of dyanics. The soft breathy tone she starts with opens up into a beautiful squillo over the first legato phrase - the volume of which is extremely even, immensely difficult across such a large range of pitches. Then she disguises her breathing so cleverly, breaking it into four parts - two larger breaths at 1:42 and 1:45, and two smaller breaths (just barely audible!) between them - so that she's able to INSTANTLY phrase from her sustained legato at 1:46 into her magnificent stacatto at 1:48, adding an additional high flourish on the ascent! Contrast it against Maria's similarly excellent stacatto at 0:33 - Maria's breath is so well disguised, but Karola sings the phrase completely uninterrupted. An immense talent.

Maria Aleida gives one of the best performances, though I could listen to Rachele Gilmore all day. Aleida also goes up for the last note instead of down, which is almost unimaginable. Christina Johnson, however, is the only one here who managed a vibrato on that high note - kudos for that.

HOW could you leave out Carla Maffioletti's performance with André Rieu & orchestra?!!!!!!" But then I knocked the chip off my shoulder when I saw this musical survey was created three years prior to that performance. I strongly recommend you give it a watch.
