Prince August Hobby Casting USA soldiers PA851 demonstration

Prince August released an extension to PA851 Mould set that allows you to cast Pre 1902 USA soldiers, using the previous moulds arms and accessories with the new bodies and heads. This interchangeable element allows for more flexible creations than standalone moulds.
We also are using our '6 Star' Tin/Bismuth alloy in the demonstration. This has a lower melting point and casting point than our pewter '5 Star' metal which means it is fine to melt on any normal electric hotplate or cooker. It is however a little more brittle so care needs to be taken when removing it from a mould and cutting off ingates.
Casting as a hobby is easy to learn and this video walks you through the process. There will be a follow up video for priming and painting the castings.
