Hi Jim , how can I use this method at the first time , I mean , someone is giving me this information at a normal speed , how can I create this story instantly, I would be working on a story as he or she speaks to me ? Which I would found extremely difficult 😥, or this is only use with the words written down and I have plenty of time to create my story.. thanks a lot for helping me out
I already knew this method from the memory book by Harry Lorraine. And It was super easy to remember that using this method. Thank you Jim for spreading such useful information.
I loved this activity ❤. I’m going to exercise it with everyone in my family thank you Jim. Please make your own school, this is so necessary right now.
You know? I like this method a bit more than the memory palace method because it does cause help to emphasize sequence and you don't have to try to think of a memory palace with locations nearly as much. Also, remember a neat trick is to try to make the visual somewhat absurd as that will be memorable. There's a reason that a memory champion wrote a book about his techniques and named it moonwalking with Einstein. I actually did naturally put together a sequence of these and got 10 of them only missing 2 towards the end when you picked up the pace a bit. I missed number 10 and number 12, but after reviewing them, I now remember them easily without having to rewatch the video.
Thank you for teaching how to remember things I need this method for my College homeworks assignments. PS: The Brain is not a muscle, it is an organ that can be trained.
Thanks for the tips jim.. It's really helpful and I really enjoyed this video! Will always support you! Just keep doin' this excellent work! ☺🙂 I hope you can somehow read my comment 😇
I need help with rembering for my mom showing signs of early alzheimers. Her mother had Alzheimer's in her old age and I think she might have it too. Hoping there could be a way to delay if not reverse the progress of the disease...
I understand why this can work but it seems like you have to put more effort into memorizing a lot more than just words, then you have to translate these images back to the word you wanted to remember.
I got 11 out of 12 did the same thing before you explained it in the video almost the same. It wasn't in order. Entire scene was a pilot with monkey copilot holding a notebook filled with cash(capital) at night, a pilot pointing red laser showing the monkey where to fly. My Image wasn't dynamic. I guess If I was to remember them in order I'd have to use dynamic scene like yours. I forgot a cigar. I don't smoke sorry. That's how much I hate it. I never understood how I can remember so many things better than others. I was using this technique instinctually.
Subscribe so we can stay in touch and learn together. 🧠
Loved this memory tool. Can you do a video on thinking hats and types of intelligence.
