I have to explain to you rob how inspiring it is watching your vids. Ive been very busy with taxidermy. Im brushing but its on animals which i love doing but havent been able to do any artwork as of late . So im dead tired but being in the studio all day since before daylight. Come in, eat supper , shower and i come here and see a new vid of yours. Heres the kicker, dead tired, watch a new vid youve posted and im headed into the studio to play with my airbrushes. All from being inspired by watching you. I dont know if you realize the effect you have on some of your deticated subscribers like myself. When i have posted to your vids and mentioned the word inspiring i truely mean it from the heart. Im sure there are a few of us here that you drive to become better with our passion. Again my hats off to you but dam. Im tired rob, what the heck? Now i have to throw some ink into a .02 needle airbrush and play around freehanding stuff when i should be sleeping. I dont know at this moment because my brain is in slow motion but im wondering if your a blessing or a darn nusance. Alrighty then, im going paint realistic eyeballs freehand so i hope your happy with yourself. Im tremblin im so tired but should be to my advantage doing the sqiggly lines in the eyeball. Thanks alot buddy. Your inspiring vid is kicking my butt
Amazing piece of artwork Rob, I just don't know how you get such crisp detail doing it all freehand but it must be years of experience and your skill as an artist, enjoyable watch so thanks for sharing👌👍
Hi Rob, thanks for sharing your knowledge about the art of airbrushing. Here in Brazil it is difficult to find professionals who share knowledge like you do. I always learn from watching your videos. Especially the tips about paints and dilution. Thanks!!! Hugs. 👏👏👏🎨🎨🎨
Was excited to see you post this subject. Positively my personal favorite way to airbrush on my canvases. Great share. Any chance of a video on canvas? Again thanks!!!
this I great to see rob ..proper 100% freehand ..no one seems too want to work like this anymore only likes of your self and Steve Nunez ...love to see more of this content pleasers also what brush is that you're using ...al the best
this is exactly what i wanna learn, Is this more about trigger control?? thank u for sharing this..and especially in portraits...the stencil look , sometimes looks too realistic if that makes sense.. i know marissa oosterlee said she is gonna make more freehand videos..
Hi Rob quick question, I have the Altra and just started learning it doesn't matter how tight the front cap is or how many times I keep reseating the Nedal I am still getting a few bubbles in the cup when practicing any suggestions, thanks Trevor

great video sir, spot on. had a question. I found a harder and steenbeck fPC Valve regulator for my infinity 2024. 1. do i need to run a higher psi say 40 at the compressor, or what setting do you recommend. i noticed if i am at 30 not much happens when the valve is set low flow. 2. I noticed as I turn the valve and I hold down trigger and pull all the way back that the flow goes from very low to strong with paint coming out, then at the 1/2 way only air no paint then when it is open all the way I get paint again, its like there is a dead spot of paint flow in the middle of turning the valve control...is that normal...? so to be clear, I am running at 35 psi, ink 1 drop paint 15 drops ipa did this also with just water btw .25 nozzle used. valve is turned all the way to low pressure, trigger pressed down, and pulled back all the way max for max air flow and paint/water i have flow of paint at low pressure, then as i turn to open valve more paint comes out, then at the half way point of opening the valve i get only air but no paint, as i continue to open valve all the way i then get air and paint. its as if there is a dead spot of no paint in the middle is this normal?
PS, personally i think this is the best way too start for a beginner ie because they can find out how to control the brush and see what they can achieve , its frustrating at first as i know but its a learning curve . A little foot note i had too show how stain wood today to a employee ie using the grain f"ck me i don't know how i kept my temper such a simple thing but if you don't know its hard .
That's what I like about you mukka you can switch from one technique to another in the blink of an eye 👏👏

so to be clear, I am running at 35 psi, ink 1 drop paint 15 drops ipa
did this also with just water btw
.25 nozzle used.
valve is turned all the way to low pressure, trigger pressed down, and pulled back all the way max for max air flow and paint/water
i have flow of paint at low pressure, then as i turn to open valve more paint comes out, then at the half way point of opening the valve i get only air but no paint, as i continue to open valve all the way i then get air and paint.
its as if there is a dead spot of no paint in the middle
is this normal?
im using sepia ink or ink thinned to your specs 1 drop ink 10 to 15 drops ipa
