- Rock Hudson's Ex-Lover Marc Christian Wins Landmark Lawsuit over AIDS Concealment. The jury found that: 1) at the time Christian and Hudson were engaging in "high risk sex," Hudson knew he had AIDS and concealed that information from Christian; 2) at the time Christian and Hudson were engaging in high risk sex, Hudson affirmatively misrepresented his physical condition to Christian; 3) Hudson's misrepresentations and concealment were made with the intent to induce Christian to continue engaging in "high risk sex" with Hudson; 4) Christian reasonably relied upon Hudson's misrepresentations and concealment and, as a result, suffered increased emotional distress; 5) Hudson's conduct was outrageous; and 6) Hudson's outrageous acts were done by Hudson with either intent to cause Christian emotional distress, or with reckless disregard of the probability of causing emotional distress to Christian. Rock should have told Marc, anyone should tell.
true if he is infact telling the truth Marc I mean but to say Rock acted intentionally is a bit of a stretch
good on Marc, I like and respect Rock, but in this instance he was wrong and irresponsible.
When a person acts like Rock Hudson, one loses respect and there is only anger.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in 1980+ two years, 40 million people have already died of AIDS.
To act like this is just unreasonable.
I hope nobody gets the idea that I am homophobic.
This I am not and I respect everyone his life and whom he/she loves.
But consideration is the least and each person has only one life and one health.
My client is also gay and has been with his boyfriend for 20 years. The boyfriend was a doctor in the past and health
and hygiene is very important to the boyfriend. Neither my client nor his boyfriend would act as conscienceless
as RH did back then.
Rock Hudson behaved otally wrong, He knew, beeing infected, he could have killed Marc by having unprotected sex. Unbelievable he did this.
Of course Rock should have let all his partners know! Glad he got sued!!!
I expect from a partner that he does not put me in danger unnecessarily.
As far as this deadly disease is concerned, even more so.
If I were a single lady, I would demand an AIDS test and a Corona test from every man.
If I am honest:
I would better stay single. Many men are too careless with such things or health. My life is then more important to me than to have a few minutes of fun but with the queasy feeling to hope: "Hopefully the man has no diseases!"
Trust is good, control is better.
Staying healthy is even better.
here is what i think I think Yes he did not tell him but it was because Marc was and had threatened to out him before because by then the relationship was over so Marc was in no danger of contracting anything because Rock had moved on and Marc was mad because of that and also he was mad about not being left anything in the will
I remember Rock Hudson from the television series 'McMillan and Wife'.
Marc died at 56 so perhaps he did have Aids.
It said Marc died of heavy smoking?!

Re Innocentti's comment. The whole case and judgement is only valid IF Christian and Rock were still having sex. That's the crux of the case. Rock was dead. We only have Christians word on that. I believe that Rock and Mark Miller did conspire 'not to tell the kid' but not because he wanted to keep having sex but because he feared Christian would out Rock to the press as he had threatened before. Their relationship was over. Marc was being frozen out. Tom Clarke (Rocks previous lover and I think his true love) moved back from New York to look after Rock. Top it off with Chistian not being in the will and you have a strong reason for him to sue and lie. He was a user. A gold digger.
A money pick up is not owed more money because of hysteria about AIDS or homophobia .Marc never got HIV . What sex they had during this period we only have Marc's word on and his motive was clearly money. Marc was 31 and Hudson 58. For all we know, Rock may have thought he got HIV from Marc. Rock was already dead and can't talk.

Rock Hudson was great. His critics can't hold a candle to him. I don't care about anyone whose relationship to Aids is panic that they might get it, I care about those who suffer from it.Rock had too much dignity to talk about a lawsuit against anyone who infected him.
