I remember when the F-1 and T-2 were really fun to play. I just wish they had a reason to be played again. Like idk, perhaps they get their Type 91/GCS-1 infrared guided JM117s and Mk.82 bombs.
Hey just I teensy lil tip with any aircraft you may want to be stealthier with , turning your radar off will prevent enemy rwr from notifying them of anything from you , location or launch. Nice video 🤝
Yep I realized this much later on (at this point I didn't have any radar bindings until I started using the F-4EJs). Also it only gives them a launch warning if you lock them up using radar guided missiles. Thanks for pointing it out though.
@@rightsideup6304 Yea, arguably. Its a phantom at 11.7, sure its got the best armaments, but F4S is still better at 11.3. At 11.7 the f4ej kai has a horrible airframe, top speed and acceleration, doesnt even get agile eagle package like F4E and F4S. It also lacks one of the most important things that the F4S and F4J have that makes them pretty ok at the br they sit at with they horrible airframes - HMD, which the F4EJ kai does not have, this allowed the f4s/j to fire 7F's off bore without even looking at the target or bleeding speed to manouver your nose on target to get a lock.
Hey slippy, though somewhat risky depending on distance and closure rate, you can consistently dodge early fox1 without any cm by performing a simple barrel roll

Why is the JP grind so awful at that tier ? i'm playing the Starfighter and before the 9P my experience was grueling.
no flares + a10s and su25, not that agile, low amount of missiles (mitsubishi)

this might let you make use of altitude more without needing to go fully defensive whenever you get pinged

Honestly the T2 isn't all that bad since it's at 9.7, plus you get to train more with the gun handling so that you can use the F1 if you so please.
T2 and F1 is food for other planes in their brackets. Okay missiles and speed, but can't maneuver through a furball without getting hit by a missile
T-2 can be fun sometimes, but i just straigth up skip the F-1 and just use the f-104J to grind the F-4Ej wich is even more painfull that the F-104J :D
