  • How independent teams are losing out to larger manufacturer teams in Formula 1.
Independent F1 teams like McLaren, Williams, and Lotus once dominated Formula 1, setting standards in innovation and competition. However, the turn of the millennium marked a shift with the rise of manufacturer teams such as Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull, and Renault, significantly altering the sport's dynamics. This transition, fueled by evolving regulations, technological advancements, and financial disparities, has reshaped the essence of F1, challenging the survival and competitiveness of independent teams within the global racing arena.

Williams perfected the active suspension system. It was Lotus who introduced the concept a decade earlier.

Nowadays all independent teams, like Prema for example, are going to indycar because in some way it's like the early 90s f1, more pure passion and less of a business

I agree, completely. I have started getting into Indycar ever since Romain Grosjean joined and it had me hooked. With F1 stopping Andretti joining, ive lost the little faith i had left in the management.

nice and interesting. just few tips, try to raise the voice tone (or may is just the microphone) and look straight into the camera. but keep going because the videos are really good

Yeah the microphone puts out an awful signal. I boost it already in the edit, but if i change it any further it starts to distort. Will get a new microphone soon, they are just expensive haha. Thanks for the feedback :)

I’m glad Lewis has left Mercedes in the sh** by dropping them without notice after what toto done to Andretti and I’m not even American. However, as a fan of the sport they would’ve been good for it. Merc and ferrari et al just didn’t want the competition. Pathetic and poor F1 let them have what they wanted

It’s a shame, more competition would do wonders for the sport
