Returning to oozaru form, maintaining composure, and then going SSJ makes so much sense and gives a logic to why it would be stronger. It also looks so much better than Blue or God, even UI. It has character. I understand why the series is no longer canon, but I wish the concept had replaced some of the less exciting transformations in Super

SSJ3 drawbacks aren't his style of "Ascending". But it's weird because he used SSJ Grade 2 against cell which is similar in drawbacks compared to SSJ3... Guess he learned his lesson from then? 🤷🏽♂️
He skipped SSJ3 in both GT and Super. Despite its confusing name, SSJ4 actually is separate form. They just called it "4" cause it was next form, but it's not really connected to SSJ3 or SSJ2. It's connected to Golden Oozaru which is more like SSJ mixed with Oozaru. The same way SSJ Blue is mix of SSJ and SSJ God with latter also having dumb name because it has nothing to do with SSJ.
GT was only canon to the anime since it was an original creation from the company. And 8t followed right after Z but now it's more of an alternative story or universe. Super is now the truly canon of dragon ball if you like it or not, since it continues the story after the anime and manga from the creator this time.
I don’t understand the hate behind GT except the intro song. Super saiyan 4 was literally the final ascension. The perfect form of a super saiyan. Perfect super saiyan. It’s literally shown in front of you that it’s the ultimate saiyan form. Plus the exploration of the galaxy concept was always cool af and it BROUGHT BACK THE TUFFLES!!! Like dude it had SO MUCH lore thrown at us and it was so awesome. Haters are dumb lol. Yeah parts of it were silly but ultimately at its core, GT was absolutely amazing.

He skipped SSJ3 in both GT and Super. Despite its confusing name, SSJ4 actually is separate form. They just called it "4" cause it was next form, but it's not really connected to SSJ3 or SSJ2. It's connected to Golden Oozaru which is more like SSJ mixed with Oozaru. The same way SSJ Blue is mix of SSJ and SSJ God with latter also having dumb name because it has nothing to do with SSJ.

It's non-canon. That doesn't mean that you can't play around with alternate time lines and universes. It's the only way GT can be justified.
GT was only canon to the anime since it was an original creation from the company. And 8t followed right after Z but now it's more of an alternative story or universe. Super is now the truly canon of dragon ball if you like it or not, since it continues the story after the anime and manga from the creator this time.
Toriyama is on record saying that GT is canon to its own timeline so yeah you’re right

I don’t understand the hate behind GT except the intro song. Super saiyan 4 was literally the final ascension. The perfect form of a super saiyan. Perfect super saiyan. It’s literally shown in front of you that it’s the ultimate saiyan form. Plus the exploration of the galaxy concept was always cool af and it BROUGHT BACK THE TUFFLES!!! Like dude it had SO MUCH lore thrown at us and it was so awesome. Haters are dumb lol. Yeah parts of it were silly but ultimately at its core, GT was absolutely amazing.

Watch increased full power ssj4 vs Syn Shenron that bro couldn't touch Goku if he didn't want him to , dodged or countered everything , he thought Goku was doing it by sensing ki so tried a clock tower disc at him without ki and Goku still caught it , all while being blind . Ssj4 has heightened senses and they keep getting better whenever he gets more powerful not just increasing in strength .
