we didn’t get season 1 Ezra because it meant that they would have had to create new “kid sized” tooling. Instead of just reusing parts from the Haslab adult Ezra.
They could've used young Anakin's body. But Ezra was a teenager in Rebels so that wouldn't have worked either.
Great review Bossk, as a Rebels fan I'm loving seeing the crew come together. Hopefully down the line the season 1 Ezra will be pipelined.

Thank you Bossk's Bounty for a nice review of Ezra. The Rebels line look great and very happy they came to TVC, even if they needed the show Ahsoka to come out in the line. I remember the Rebels show dearly as my family and I watched it ceremoniously as family time. We became supporters of the show, even letting the OT family members how good the Rebels show was in the Star Wars media. Seeing they all coming together was a pipeline dream come true. Long live 3.75 inch Star Wars!

Finally have it in my hands, it's a beautiful figure, I loved it, BUT, the first thing I noticed was the blaster DOESN'T match the holster, I feel this blaster is not the correct model for the holster, or viceversa, I don't know yet, but one of this two things is wrong and it's so annoying.
This figure looks terrific, but I think I'll pass. I'd prefer a floppy-haired, 15-year-old Ezra, which I hope we get at some point....

@@BossksBounty I can't imagine it's a high priority right now. Hasbro can always just say, "Hey, you have the Ghost crew! Settle down!", even though they don't technically all fit together.

Ezra should've been on a Rebels card.
So Bossk apparently Ezra’s sidearm is indeed supposed to be a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. What you’re seeing is its animated design. I thought it was a different blaster with a similar design but it’s not.
Would've preferred the Stormtrooper disguise Ezra figure. Though Ezra's at the bottom of my want list in general, I'd like that one.
Get us a bloody handprint FO Trooper Finn while you're at it, Hasbro. I don't like the Disney film stuff, but I'd like a few of those figs and that first impression Finn is a breeze to make.
Just knockout these headsculpts and plop 'em on those bodies. Don't double-pack 'em. Enjoy the profits. Done!

It’s probably just me, but these “realistic interpretation” versions of characters do nothing for me. I still prefer the figures look like their actual animated character, or in this case the actual live action actor. All these “realistic interpretations” are going to end up as patrons sitting in my cantina with a cup in their hand having a conversation. 🤷🏻♂️
Wow this is a fantastic figure and I like the different style gun I'm getting tired of everyone getting Jabba's palace style blasters it's nice to see different ones coming out I can't wait to get all the ones I ordered great video
U made a great point about getting these and keeping the ones from the ghost closed. I'm not a closed collector but with only being so few it will be cool to keep them closed
I love that they did S3 Ezra, he is a badass.
Still need that Rebels version of Hera, outside the Haslab campaign. But I bet she isn't coming anytime soon. Wonder if after the Ghost ships and we all have them, and some people open their Hera, if then they'll take that same figure and pack it on a different Rebels VC card. I'm not opening mine. I plan to use Ahsoka Hera, Huyang, Chopper, Sabine, and Ahsoka the White for my Ghost crew. Maybe later down the road if they release Rebels Hera in mainline, I'll change the crew over. Ordered spares of all of them just in case.
With the release of these figures along with zeb you have to wonder if they will do the cantina figures as separate releases
Another fantastic review. Do you have Sabine, Hera, and Chopper to go with them? I know there not in the same era, but i look forward to seeing the crew together when i get them in August.

I already the three other members of the Phoenix/Spectre crew from the Ahsoka show and I still am on the fence for Zeb and Kanan so either I skip on them or make my own story for the display since I do wish we can have the Peridia version. I would need to find Huyang if that version of Ezra ever happens.

Somehow they fucked up his head shape AND his haircut. His hair is buzzed, and his head is NOT flat.
A well made figure, but I really don't like it. I get that it's based on the live action actor, and specifically how he appeared in that hologram, but Ezra was just a teenager in the cartoon, not an adult cosplaying as a teenager. The figure really should have been Ezra as we saw him on Peridea.
This head is not based on the actor from Ahsoka (Looks nothing like him) - which makes it even more odd that its on an Ahsoka card.
@@BossksBounty Oh, I thought somebody from Hasbro had stated the likeness was based on that actor. Maybe I'm misremembering. Regardless, it still doesn't look like an older teen, as it should. Looks more like a guy in his late 20's/early 30's.
Looks nothing like the actor or the animation… why have they made him a generic white guy? Nose wrong, skin colour wrong, hair wrong…
