- Here was our second trip to another bridal shop. I think that Hailey has decided on the dress she wants but I wanna share a couple dresses that I knew that she really wasn’t too impressed with however, I feel like she was beautiful and all of them even ones that may be didn’t look the best, but she just is so beautiful. And yes I’m biased because I’m the mom.
We had Izzy and my friend Lacey pick out some bridesmaid dresses for Hailey to see kind of how they looked with the colors that she was envisioning. Izzy was the perfect model. She is absolutely beautiful and I think that she’s gonna be wearing the yellow dress with the ruffle in front. Hailey‘s colors are terra-cotta, toffee, earthy green, and harvest gold.
So each of the girls are going to wear one of those colors and then they can pick their own style of dress. And we really like the chiffon so much and how it laid and it just looks so elegant and the wedding is going to be in the summer so it’s gonna be hot and I think this material will keep the girls a little cooler, then like a velvet or a taffeta, which is so thick.
What’s great as we found a website called Birdy Grey and all of their bridesmaids dresses are only $99 and they are absolutely beautiful. So we’re able to get an idea of kind of the style and color she wanted and you can also get three samples for free in the mail of the type of material or color that you’re looking for. So if you have a wedding coming up, you might want to check out that website. There are a lot of beautiful dresses in lots of different colors and material types.

Omgosh--Hailey has such a natural beauty to her to begin with but oh my seeing her in the last dress she looked absolutely stunning and so whimsical.
Izzy is so captivating and personally the dresses that were a wine colour and the teal blue colour compliments her complexion perfectly.

Hailey is going to be such a stunning bride!!! She looks absolutely beautiful in all the dresses already, I can’t imagine how gorgeous she’s going to look on her big day. I love the 3rd dress, I think the style fits her so well and she looks amazing in the bright white 🤍
She will look STUNNING in whatever she chooses. It is nice you are stepping back and allowing her to decide what SHE wants! So many moms will be too bossy about these things and push for what they want. The only person who's decision matters, is the bride!! ❤🤗❤️
I liked the floral dress for the book wedding. Izzy looked amazing in all the dresses.

I loved the dresses that Hailey tried on, they all looked great. As far as Izzy goes I loved the green one (1st), maroon dress, and the light blue one.
The first dress shop has my two favorites. One being the floral. And Izzy was rocking all the pretty color. But the wine color and the blueish color were fire on Izzy. Hailey and Izzy are both absolutely beautiful young ladies they were look stunning!

Gorgeous dresses. Loved the last one on Hailey, but I slso loved the "Garden dress". Izzy looked good in all those dresses too.
The bride will look beautiful in any number of dresses. Izzy is tall and slim and therefore, looks good in everything. The burgundy looked the best on her, but the bridesmaids dress has to look good on other body shapes. The other girls need to try her picks on too.

My daughter is in a wedding in April. It was so fun picking out the style dress she wanted. It came in this weekend. The first thing she said was, "Mom, you were so right about the size!"

Izzy is such a great model for these dresses. I love the peasant style dresses for a boho wedding. I'm envisioning a color scheme with a spectrum of sage greens and dusty roses. The last dress Haley tried on was STUNNING!!! Thats the one for me but, its not my wedding :)

Not to make this about me, but I never got the whole wedding dress shopping experience. My mother was very ill with ALS and since I knew she wouldn’t be able to come wedding dress shopping with me I decided to just order a dress online. I didn’t want her to feel left out.

Tips. If the girl is large breasted or thick back, she may not look good in an open back.

You do have to wear a slip. Believe me, whether or not the dress is full or not. It keeps the bride cooler, unless the dress is cotton, the slip helps so much to keep cool......from my experience with my wedding dress. 😊❤
The second dress that Izzy tried on was simply stunning. That color on her was divine. I really liked it. Haileys dresses were beautiful 😊

As a MOB, you may want to go to a mall and check like down state. Auburn Hills has a very large dress store in Great Lakes Crossing. Beautiful dresses and hundreds of them!
If pregnant brides maid is not there and Izzy is trying on dresses to get an idea, see if the dress store has a belly band like a pregnant belly to try on. My youngest did that for us at a David's Bridal.

I lucked out when I needed a bridesmaid's dress. My cousin didn't care what dress just that it was red. I was willing to wear whatever because I wanted her to have whatever she wanted but she was so easy. I actually really loved the dress that I got.

I didn’t get a mother of the bride dress when my daughter got married. I purchased a bridesmaid dress for myself. Loved it and felt wonderful in it and my daughter loved it as well.

do you realize bringing in coffee and fried foods around those gowns? what if something spilled on one and the grease from fingers can stain those gowns!/ Hailey looks great in them all
