I worked on the restoration of Jacobs I in 1982. It was fascinating to see how it was put together up close. It occurs to me know, after all these years, that the inherent issues cited by people re the Usonian designs could be taken care of with a caulking gun.
Kudos to your critical analysis of a groundbreaking original & inspirational masterpiece of a Jacobs house & it'll be better further if it can be shown in a 3D/4D walk-through for virtual experience though graphically if an actual site visit as seen in a video for a visual experience won't be possible. Thanks for a vlog lecture of FLW's organic & economic middle class house for a pre-war typical American family that is a precusor to the post-war archetypal sub-urban affordable & available dwelling unit of the mid-century.👍
