- On today's episode of Pencilspotting, we're testing out some Bostitch pencils I picked up at Menard's.
True story: I have a Bostitch saddle stapler that I use to put together my zines and it works great.
I do love these pencils. I was surprised by how smoothly they wrote.
You can view these on the Menard's website at www.menards.com/main/grocery-... see them on the Menard's website at
You can send pencils (and pens) for me to try at:

Thanks for the thorough review. Made in India of American cedar? WIN!
I can't believe that you only have 21 subscribers! This is pretty good content and apart with some issues with the audio here and there, it's a good video!
Thank you for the kind words; I really appreciate it. About subscribers: more content generally means more subs, but my time is limited, unfortunately. I've got a lot of stuff in the pipeline I need to get out there, though.
Audio issues: are you talking about the weird popping at the beginning of the video? I'm trying to figure that out. It might just be that I have a cheap microphone.

The microphone may need a pop filter, or you could be too close to it.
It came with one, but it's a little tiny one, very thin, and may not be that great. I'm experimenting today and might have something better posted soon. (I've been in a zine mood lately.)
Where did you purchase these? You may have said, but I must have missed it.
I purchased them at Menard's. They're kind of a midwestern Lowe's.
I added a link to their web page in the description.
