'The Special One' will depart at the end of the season ending a three year spell with Real Madrid. Chelsea or Psg are likely to be his next options.
It clearly wasn't the way Mourinho intended to end his time in Madrid this way but unfortunately it ended as the worst season for him. What do we Madrid fans think of him now? Some will agree that he boosted the clubs chance of silverware and reinforced us back to Champions league & managed to tame Barcelona, While Some will disagree that he destroyed and portrayed an awful image for the royal club.
He will be adored and will be loathed by the fans but he will surely be missed. His reactions, his press conference, his outburst and all "Mourinho staff" that always never fail to entertain.

Best manager in the world shattered by madridistas
Jose has a very strong personality & wants total commitment to the team which he could not get out of spoiled brats at Real at the time. Add to that the Real is run by the President not the manager so he could not deal with that either. I am positive they promised him free hand when they brought him from Inter but did not allow him to do what he wanted to do.
Anyway, they are both better off without each other. As for Real, it is interesting to see how long Zizou will last there. Once he has made his name as a world class coach he will leave too.

There are good egos & bad egos.
Mourinho, Conte, Clough, SAF, etc. all have or had egos but their teams benefitted from their work & egos.
But Martial, Pogba, Ali, etc. damaged their teams because of their egos.
That is the difference. I call the second group spoiled brats because they put their own interests above the team interests.
In the first group, certainly they had egos but their egos & interests were aligned with the interests of their clubs.

I remember reading where even players from other teams in the Spanish league criticzed Mourinho after the Casilhas fiasco. How unprofessional especially during football season. His leaving will be good for Barca they will once again dominate. No wonder their players got in on the act of helping get rid of Mourinho. I think mourinho the third season with real , he got the team to the semifinal , and the lost the final of copa del rey against athletico , it was n't too bad , but in chelsea in the third season , his was clearly betrayed , so I think he was betrayed in chelsea more than real madrid , and even more than man utd now
