Hello Lanier! It's always a treat to see new content up from you. I love the soundtrack you choose for your videos. Always tastefully chosen to accompany the theme.
Well-done, as usual. You have such a natural flair for Classical cinematography, no question! I think you just selected my scent of the evening: Midnight in Paris. I remember back-in-the-day when this stuff was being hyped within the fragrance community. Thankfully, I purchased eleven bottles of MiP when they were discontinued and being sold for peanuts on the discount market: $20 for the EDT and $22 for the EDP. I thought it was an excellent scent, but just leaned a little more on les femme side for it to be in my regular rotation. However, when my daughters smelled it...well, they went nuts and borrowed nine (never to be returned) bottles. To be honest, it smells ever more awesome of the ladies IMO. I managed to vault 1 EDT and 1EDT, which I will treasure for life. On a side note, I prefer Bvlgari Black (smells very similar to MiP) because it leans just a little more masculine to my nose. Cheers!
Lanier, do you have a background in cinematography? It seems we get hints of your past, but I still don’t understand the whole picture, and a video about it would be very interesting!
Well, yes in a way. I am a storyteller from a very early age. Perhaps I will do a video about it someday with links to my other UA-cam channel where some of my Machinima work can still be found. Thank you Stacy. Cheers.
Marvelous short film, your videos are always an oasis in the desert of youtube. A fitting tribute for a timeless scent . 🥃🍷 have a blessed easter
Wonderful music and visuals! Thank you for this beauty!
Exquisite, finesse to the senses. Merci, monsieur Smith.

Spartacus? ,As always gorgeous, made my evening Lanier, I give mine away over 10 years ago, before I got my nose!
You got the composer correct but it's not Spartacus...it's Cleopatra. Cheers.
So nice!
That's a very good choice, I cherish my bottles...

Wow! I had no idea the soundtrack was so good. Maybe I need to stream it while on the go.
The score to Cleopatra is incredible. Alex North was a genius film composer. My absolute favorite. Cheers gunmetal24!
Never got a chance to try this one, but its alleged brother, Bulgari Black, is among my favorites.
I enjoyed mine when I had it. Sadly, it's all gone. Never to return.
Yes, sad and what is available is horribly overpriced. Cheers

@@laniersmith1798 I do enjoy your story telling and the style in which you do it .
Lanier, are you familiar with some Polish classic fragrances? Like Brutal, Przemysławka etc.
No I am sorry to say I am not familar with that house. Cheers
