Why Grey Prince Zote isn't on this list. This guy singlehandedly killed dozens of my otherwise perfect Pantheon of the Sage runs, and I wish to never ever fight him again.

I feel like those two plus absolute radiance are completely random and unfair, the worst of the worst, and it's not even a problem of not enjoying the fight anymore, i just find it impossible to complete absolute radiance on radiant. It's the only one i'm missing with 200+ hours on the game
I genuinely like the Uumuu fight. The one in fog canyon is way too easy because of Quirrel, and I like the gimmick of having to hit the jellyfish to make him vulnerable

@@missingno7313 That's fair tbh. I only sometimes don't find Markoth too much of a problem when I can wait him out/have a time to catch my breath. I can see why that'd be a problem with Marmu. Another thing for example, I personally don't find primal aspids to be that much of a nuisance at all, unlike the majority who agree. I think they're way too overrated.
Where my man Elder Hu? You gotta hope that he does his attack where he stays still, and get in a few hits before he warps away. If you use Abyss Shriek there's a good chance he just warps to the other end of the arena. And on top of that, he has a really long (and easy, therefore boring) attack in which he's not even on screen and you just have to sit and wait. Definitely at least 3rd for me

@@inserisciunnome I used effigy shaman stone soul catcher and nailmaster i think. You spam him from the distance with effigy, get some dash slashes in and when he enters phase 2 you blast him with all your soul. He should be pretty low after that
no eyes actually has a really interesting backstory, those floating medusa heads are the ghosts of the kids she was taking care of. she's basically a church pastor / youth caretaker (the closest thing the anglosphere would all be familiar with is a sunday school teacher), and she was really afraid of the radiance, she ended up going insane from paranoia trying to resist the infection. she stabbed out the church kids' eyes to stop them from seeing the radiance's light, to protect them from the infection.

When she returned, everything was in disarray - but she wouldn't leave her children behind, so down she went to bring them to safety. They were already infected, swarmed and attacked her. I've always hated no eyes. And adding spikes to the fight in godhome just makes it even worse. I'm not good enough/don't have enough time in the game to be frustrated about radiant Markoth.
I consider my self a fine hollow knight player but the bosses that drive me crazy are ones the requere multi tasking so personally #1 for me would be watcher knights this boss almost made me quit and for a time I did I'd play like 1 time weak because of those guys
I actually love the multitasking ones for the most part. It makes me feel fast and skillful, which is why I really enjoyed the watcher knight's boss on the other hand.
For me, these are the type of bosses harder to learn but once you know it, it becomes really easier, so I really like the feeling once you demolish a boss who makes you suffer (like watchers)
Who from team cherry thought that making projectiles spawn in you and damage you is a fair and balanced with markoth They should have made the projectiles not an active hitbox until they launch so you can have time to avoid it and not spawn kill you especially when you are moving
I died to AbsRad in the pantheon either 2, 3 or 4 times. I kept forgetting every piece of advice for that final bit of the fight. That pantheon took me a year or so of off and on playing.
you are too god dam right about Markoth, I don't know how I completed it on radiance although I would also include the collector, I don't know why I don't like that guy.
I mean I personally cleared Radiant Markoth hitless in 3 tries. Mainly because in my previous save there was a bug inside my save files so I always started off at the bench nearest to Markoth, and I've fought his normal version more than 30 times. I personally hate No Eyes the most
No Eyes was so easy for me. I literally just stood in a specific spot where the ghost things almost never came to the ground and just waited for the dude to teleport somewhere near me so all I'd have to do was jump and knick him with my longnail. It did take a whole like 5 or so minutes tho.
one of the most annoying things was that whatever mini boss was in soul sanctum was really easy after a few tries and the boss was difficult but not terribly so, but GETTING to either of them made me want to tear my hair out
On my first playthrough I would say one of the most annoying boss fights was the soul master because you could get like one good hit on him before he teleported away, easy to read though
more like no eyes' dead children spirits, they haunt the sanctuary before you defeat no eyes, and after that no eyes herself saying that her childrens are at last closed their eyes
They still aren’t more annoying then dealing with multiple of those child spawning things at the same time during early game before you unlock charms and spells
Radiant Marmu and Radiant Oblobbles are more annying to me than abs rads in P5, and at the same level of Radiant Markoth in annoyance. They are just too random, repetitive and nothing really going for them
You know what would've been cool if like in the abyss when you went into the little pool of void where you get the shade cloak like you had to defeat a boss that is just the player like a dark link situation but like in the dream realm

The No eye’s fight, the "things,” are her children’s dead souls. If you read into her background, u find out she was a warrior bug that had a bunch of children. When the infection broke loose, she ran home to save her children. How did she try to save them? She ripped their eyes out so they couldn’t fall asleep and get infected. Her constant creepy song is the lullaby she sang to them to calm them down while she ripped their eyes out. Her constant running around the map is her fear of the infection. The character she things is the infection which is why she is running away from you. She also blinded herself so she wouldn’t fall asleep. The entire fight is extremely depressing.
I feel like people who complain about dying to AbsRad at the top of p5 are missing the point. Yes, game play-wise, it's unfair that you fight one of the toughest bosses at the end of that massive boss rush for the first time, unlike all the others where you at least get to practice your fighting skills on godhome But lore-wise, it makes all the sense that you have to overcome such a massive challenge to defeat the god of gods (or to become the god of gods, depending on how you see it)
I tried to fight absolute radiance yesterday, when I saw that after dying I need to fight every single boss once again I swear something broke inside me

No eyes fights with her babies so those ghost are actually her kids also I’m pretty sure the story is that she went off on a mission and came back to her children having gone mad from infection eating her eyes and forcing her to kill them all

Yeah markoth actually made me quit the pantheon but the game was alot of fun I even beat the game in silver mode or whatever it was called it's been like 2 year's and I'm just waiting for part 2 although I think I will replay the game again when silksong release date be revealed

It's really easy to avoid him if you have the shade cloak, so I never had an annoying moment with that boss.

No eyes was so easy bruh I found out that the very bottom middle is an almost safe spot for healing and whatnot
